- We should have mystical experiences to complement our faith. "I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord" (part of '2 Corinthians 12:1'). Such experiences are an act of faith and relationship with God. That doesn't mean we are saved by mystical experiences, because, we are saved by faith. However, if i love my father and mother, i'm going to visit their house from time to time.
- "I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of it I do not know, but God knows. And I know that this man—whether in the body or out of it I do not know, but God knows— was caught up to Paradise. The things he heard were too sacred for words, things that man is not permitted to tell" (2 Corinthians 12:2-4)
