Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can transform from a single stroller to a double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted to create a triple-travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model is made with Baby Jogger's soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating the temperature. It has an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar and comes with the belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is lighter, too.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline, and they have an adjustment button for the footwell to allow you to place your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious however we would prefer it had an opening that is more secure. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they have to be removed completely and reattached to each use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and a significant improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake levers that many of the competitors utilize.
This is the only stroller we tested that can take two infant seats. It's a great choice for parents who have twins or an infant on the way. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. 3 wheeled pushchair 's a good option for families that already have a car seat and want a stroller that can accommodate it, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat in this instance.
