The Miracle of Laylatu l-Miraj

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Shukr to Allah ﷻ, we have reached the middle of Rajab. The holy month is the beginning of the Three Holy Months, as you know. It is a blessed month. Insha’Allah today we are travelling to Cyprus. And we will complete it there insha’Allah. We will celebrate Laylatu l-Miraj there, Allah ﷻ willing.

Laylatu l-Miraj is one of the biggest miracles of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. And it is one of the biggest favours from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It is the night when our Holy Prophet ﷺ was shown the universes that had been created for himﷺ.

There are some people who are not scholars but claim to be scholars. In order for people not to believe in these miracles, they say that heﷺ saw it in his ﷺ dream. These people are certainly deficient in mind. Their egos has taken over them. People who say this are defeated by shaytan.

Logically, if our Holy Prophet ﷺ had said this, why would Mushriks be so happy? It is something that no one can do. If our Holy Prophet ﷺ had said he ﷺ saw it in his ﷺ dream, Mushriks wouldn’t say anything. Otherwise, they were so happy that no one would follow our Holy Prophetﷺ, they would leave this way and it would be over.

On the contrary, Shukr to Allah ﷻ, the light of Islam has spread more everywhere. The favours granted in the presence of Allah ﷻ to the beloved Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷻ on that night are especially for him.

Therefore, those who deny it have no mind at all. They have treachery, hypocrisy and all kinds of evil.

وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ

‘Wa mā dhālika ‘ala Llāhi bi ’azīz’, ‘And that is not difficult for Allah.’ (Qur’ān 14:20).

It is not a difficult thing in the presence of Allah ﷻ. When they say so, they deny the power of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Ma‘az Allah, it leads people to Kufr. It leads to denying everything. And they will have no Iman in them.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ travelled both physically and spiritually on that night. Like our Holy Prophet ﷺ said himself, it actually happened. The rest who deny it should be known as treacherous people who want to destroy the religion.

It has become a trend now to interfere in useless matters. They say the matters beyond one’s height. And they are interfering in them, damn their heights. It is not a disputable matter at all. However, they are bringing it up to make Fitnah in every possible way at every opportunity. The shaytan is never at rest. Every minute they are trying to destroy people’s Iman and Islam. Let them keep trying.

BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim,

‎ ‘يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ’,

‘Yurīdūna liyuṭfiū nūra Llahi bi-afwāhihim wa Llahu mutimmu nūrihi walaw kariha l-kāfirūn, ‘They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even though the disbelievers dislike it.’

(Qur’ān 61:18).

They want to extinguish the Light of Allah ﷻ by blowing on it. How stupid they are! The Light of Allah ﷻ wants to be perfect. It will be perfect. Shukr to Allah ﷻ, this light will appear everywhere. Those who will be against this light will be melted away. And there will be no benefit for them.

May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ give us from this light insha’Allah. May we see the perfection of this light in this world insha’Allah. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.”
