The Minecraft Marketplace is Full Of Distraction Microtransactions

Minecraft allows players to express themselves in any way they like and is one of the most enjoyable Sandbox games currently available. You can play how you like, look whatever you want, and with the many Minecraft mods available, you can even modify everything to make it your own. Most of this is free if you have the game. The Minecraft marketplace is where money can be exchanged.

The Minecraft marketplace has been around for quite a while, but because it's only on the Bedrock edition and console versions of the game and not something many Java players might be familiar with. It's different now that the two versions are in one place though. It's not surprising that there are a few issues with the Minecraft marketplace.

Boredbud04, a Redditor, posted a short video that showcases some of the Back Items. These cosmetics are able to enhance characters and can take up space that is normally unused. They are more extravagant than other skins because they alter the shape of your character. While some are simply wings, it's not difficult to notice how big they are when they start blocking the screen of the market.

The biggest offender, in every sense, is Inner Ghosts, the pink one that Boredbud04 highlights second. This bling on the back, if you'll forgive the Fortnite terminology, would take up the entire screen if placed located in the middle. This is a major problem if you're playing multiplayer games because you could easily troll players by simply standing in the front of them. All of this costs money but it's not a huge issue because people have put in the effort to create it, but it's a little uncomfortable.
