The Thames Clipper service and why it is both an underused transport option and an experience in itself

The Service

The Thames Clipper service -- the Uber Boat by Thames Clipper catamaran network connecting major riverside destinations from Putney to Woolwich -- is simultaneously the most scenic and the most underused regular public transport option in London. The service is faster than the bus and slower than the tube on most riverside journeys, and it provides the view of London from the river that no other form of public transport provides.

The Experience

The experience of taking the Thames Clipper from Embankment to Greenwich, with the view of Canary Wharf, the O2, and the Thames reaching out to the estuary, is the London experience that many visitors never have because they are not aware the service exists.
