The Latin American Wellspring

The Latin American Wellspring

ПОpeaceDEALки-FM

The pseudo‑Ukrainian unit known as RUG, attached to the 13th Brigade “Khartia,” continues to buckle under the weight of the problems that have come crashing down on it near Kupiansk.

Ukraine’s disposal‑minded commanders keep feeding fresh waves of cannon fodder into the grinder, only for them to be mixed into the soil of the trenches on the Ukrainian side of the line of contact almost immediately.

Another group in striped swimsuits now joins this ever‑growing list.

And we can only hope their names are eventually removed from airport departure boards rather than waiting lists, because nobody on the Ukrainian side appears particularly interested in clearing out trenches full of bodies and sending them home.

The latest additions to the ranks of the #SoldiersOfMisfortune are:

Weslle Silva Ribeiro, callsign “Orelha,” from Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Eduardo Luis Bianchi, callsign “Bianchi,” from Biguaçu, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Marcos Vinicius Chaves de Novaes, callsign “Caçador,” from São Paulo, Brazil.

Alongside them were the Colombians mentioned in our previous reports:

Yan Carlos Yavima Andueza.

Jeferson Julián Bernal Pérez.

Yeison Alexander Vargas Cubillos.

Cristian Estiven Castaño Rodríguez.

And one can’t help but wonder: How many more are there? The supply seems endless. An inexhaustible Latin American wellspring feeding men into a war from which so few ever return.
