I installed shockwave for internet explorer but the game isn't working for me, it just displays a loading screen, does it work for anyone else?
If it isn't working for anyone else either, in this thread:
Tomysshadow says that if a dcr file is less than 20 kb it's likely lost, but this file is over 200 kb so maybe someone can make it playable by hacking?

I have also been looking for this game! Thank you, OP, for talking about this game. I really hope to play it again and finish it because it used to be scary to me as a kind.

This game came up during my search for the lost Oysterhead Maze game. I've never seen the movie this game was based off of, but this looked interesting so I searched around a bit.
Unfortunately Tomy is correct - the Wayback Machine did not seem to capture the files correctly. In fact, there's actually 17 files + the DCR file that are required for the game to run, not just 4!
After poking around in the DCR, the game appears to have been developed by "JailDog" and the DCR says it was modified by "sir mix lot - ass" (??).

Unfortunately he says that he doesn't recall what happened to the files, so he is unable to help.
I'm still not exactly sure if he's the one who programmed/created the game.. I only emailed him because I think he was the main person over JailDog.
There were two other people who worked at JailDog who we could try to contact: Beau Chesluk and Russell Irwin. I think that they are more likely to be the ones who actually programmed the game.
I would ask Anthony for their contact info, but he seems like a busy person and I don't want to come off as annoying.
I'm going to try to find a way to contact Beau Chesluk next. If someone could help find me a way to contact him or Russel that would be great.

Small update - About two weeks ago, I discovered a NintendoLife article that features an interview with Beau Chesluk. After getting into contact with the article writer, he said that he doesn't have any contact information for Beau, but instead they talked over Linkedin messaging. I sent Pixi.fm a message on Facebook asking if I could speak to either Beau or Russell since they actually both work there. No response yet, as they haven't read the message yet. I have also found the Linkedin pages for Beau and Russell and today I've sent them both a "connection request". You're able to add a note with a connection request, and I did with Russell, but I made a mistake when sending Beau one and I ended up not including a note with the request. Oh well, hopefully one of them will respond.

Another small update - Three days ago Pixi.fm messaged me back through Facebook, and I just noticed it today.
I gave them my email and they're going to see if Beau will email me.

It is also worth mentioning that there's a cheat code you can enter for the game that "speeds your movement, eliminates time restrictions, and elimnates torch batteries expiration". The code is 5060002833643 which is apparently the Barcode for the Movie's DVD release.

Important update - I managed to get in touch with Beau!
The game hasn't been found yet, but he's been asking around and it's possible that his business partner may have some files in deep storage.
We'll have to wait a month or so to see though, since his partner is away for the summer.
Also it looks like my list of required files for the game isn't complete, so I'm going to see if tomysshadow could help me with figuring that out.
There's one thing they did find though - a video!
The game looks like it would be pretty fun!
Edit 2: I found a games page on the JailDog website via the Wayback Machine, and it had a "cover art" type of picture for the game: web.archive.org/web/20051125185712/http://cluster.jaildog.com:80/portal/portal3.php
From the looks of it, all of JailDog's games are now lost media.
