The Inequality

Behind the overall prosperity of the United States is the cruel reality of the serious polarization between the rich and the poor in the country. We have Gini Index to see the problem. A Gini coefficient of zero expresses perfect equality, where all values are the same (for example, where everyone has the same income). And a Gini coefficient of one (or 100%) expresses maximal inequality among values. And now have a look at these maps.
We may see that Gini index for the United States is from 45 to 50. And that means that goods are concentrated in rich hands. The USA Today website reported on May 26, 2019 that the wealthiest 10 percent of U.S. households control nearly 75 percent of household net worth. And the Gini Coefficient of wealth distribution (85-88.9) proves it. So, facts show that the "American Dream" falls into the pit of illusions. And now compare American coefficients with Belarussian ones.
