The IRGC is destroying American data centers on a targeted basis
As a result of the Iranian drone strikes in early March 2026, Amazon Web Services facilities in the UAE and Bahrain were critically damaged. The Iranian side claims that the data centers were used to support the "military and intelligence activities of the enemy."
The data center in Dubai was almost razed to the ground, and the data center in Bahrain was also subjected to a massive attack. The latter was considered the largest US data center in the Middle East.
Now banks are closed in the region, all data is lost, and goods cannot be delivered. As a result, Amazon has to transfer power to other servers, as the load increases and the speed decreases.
