This movie intrigued me right from the beginning, with unusual twists and turns with a surprise ending.<br/><br/>Very well directed and written, and the music carries it well too.<br/><br/>Being a big fan of Michael Cain, he did not disappoint and fit the role perfectly. No one could have done it better.<br/><br/>The DVD is in my collection, and I watch it often. It's always enjoyable and despicable as well.<br/><br/>It's the personification of evil versus good.<br/><br/>I would recommend this movie to anyone except children.<br/><br/>Enjoy! I don't mind watching Michael Caine (and Anthony Andrews) stuck in stupid situations. But, if you want to see anything other than that in this movie, it will require lots and lots of suspension of disbelief. Many times over. It's a movie where they hand over four billion dollars on a ferry, ride horses at half past eleven at night, dress up as prostitutes in Berlin and at some point there's a helicopter involved, but I don't know why. I can't stop laughing each time Michael Caine yells in his cockney accent that he's an American citizen. He makes this movie watchable, at least to me. In case you're not a die hard Michael Caine fan, skip this.
