The Hidden Strike Movie Review
Arxi BhattiThe Hidden Strike movie review is not a movie review; it's more like an inside baseball report on the movie. You won't find any spoilers in this Hidden Strike Movie Review, but I'll give my opinions on the movie without sounding biased. Hopefully this Hidden Strike Movie Review will help you decide if this is the one for you.
Kurt Russell is probably best known for his role as the Green Goblin in the Spider-Man franchise. He's also appeared in several other films including: Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, and X-Men: First Class. In the Hidden Strike movie, he plays the main character; an ex-cop turned private detective called Jacob Hobbs. Hobbs is hired to investigate an old case that he's investigating with a very important client; he hires a young girl named Tris Prior to assist him on his case.
As with most 300mb movies, they've got a beginning, middle, and an end; and then there's all the stuff they show on TV in between. In this movie, the first half is mainly a montage of scenes from the past and shows what happened in each scene; the rest of the movie focuses on the aftermath of those scenes. The Hidden Strike movie review will concentrate on what happens during the actual film itself.

Jacob Hobbs is assigned by his friend and former partner Frank Castle (Tommy Lee Jones) to take on the case of an escaped convict; Tris Prior, who's taken in by the Department of Corrections. They don't want anybody else doing it, so they hire Jacob Hobbs and get him to track down Tris Prior by using an unorthodox method. It involves them tracking her down through an old case they've handled before and making a deal with her to use a mysterious, unidentified weapon to get to her. This is where Jacob's skills as an investigator become crucial. The movie takes place over a period of several days, so the reader gets to see the various clues and hints Jacob makes throughout the day as well as how he solves the case. The Hidden Strike Movie Review will be looking at Jacob's investigation process as well as how he solves the crime.
Tris Prior has a motive to escape, and Jacob realizes this at the end of the movie; she's going to use a secret weapon to escape. murder an employee of hers (played by Isabelle Fuhr). It's this murder which sparks Jacob's suspicion that Tris Prior has ulterior motives that she's not telling him about; a motive to get back with Frank Castle. at the end of the movie, Jacob finds out, when she reveals a message in her briefcase saying "if you want to hear this, take a bullet". The movie ends with Jacob and Tris Prior on opposite sides of a very violent conflict, and she escapes in a helicopter.
This Hidden Strike Movie Review will focus mainly on the storyline, as I feel it's the only part of the movie that really works. I haven't really seen any other movies that feature such an intense and suspenseful plot like this one does.
