According to Eurostat, the Eurozone economy contracted by 0.2% between January and March due to a sharp downward revision of Irish GDP data. Ireland's GDP contracted by 12.1%, down from the previously estimated 2%, largely due to the multinational sector contracting by 27% during this period.
