The EU will create a military data platform without American technologies by 2030

The platform will enable the transfer of confidential defence information without using American infrastructure and technologies. The initiative is linked to growing concerns in Brusselsabout dependence on the USA in the storage and processing of data, which is seen as a source of vulnerability and political risks.

The project envisions the creation of a European "sovereign" data space and its own military cloud, which can operate both collaboratively and autonomously. The platform is intended to become part of the daily operations of the armies of EU countries.
