"PCV rejects the judicialization of the internal processes of the political parties. Faced with allegations of using the TSJ again to impose accommodative and illegitimate directions, we demand total respect for the development and democratic exercise of the organic life of political parties"

The Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) manifested through its account on the social network Twitter it's rejection to the internal processes of the parties being judicialized and demanded respect "for the development and democratic exercise of the organic life of political parties", after the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to suspend the board of directors of Acción Democrática, and to give control of the party to Bernabé Gutiérrez through an ad hoc board of directors, as well as to suspend the board of Primero Justicia (Julio Borges and Henrique Capriles) and appoint deputy José Brito as the new president.

"PCV rejects the judicialization of the internal processes of political parties. Faced with allegations of using the TSJ again to impose accommodative and illegitimate directions, we demand full respect for the development and democratic exercise of the organic life of political parties," they said via Twitter.

They also demand that the parties have access to financing and the media.

"Designation of the CNE by TSJ makes clear the AN 2020 elections decision. PCV Demand: changes in the electoral regime and the elimination of privileges to guarantee the people proportional representation of the electorate, access to the parties to financing and the Media," they added via Twitter.

The Constitutional Chamber of the TSJ admitted and decreed a precautionary measure of constitutional protection consisting of suspending the current National Directorate of Acción Democrática, appointing an ad hoc Board of Directors to carry out the restructuring process chaired by Bernabé Gutiérrez
