The C&s Club Pt. 07

The C&s Club Pt. 07

Aaron and I gather our clothes and go backstage to clean up a bit and get dressed.

"Well, we did it Babe. I feel pretty good about it, how 'bout you?"

"I totally forgot about where we were there at the last. I was nervous the whole way through until then. Hope I didn't spoil it."

"Nah, nonsense. You were sexy and I've seen enough of these presentations to know we got a good reaction. It's over now, Babe. We did it and we don't need to do it again. Let's hurry and get washed up and dressed and go find Clair. I'm glad Mani sat with her. Did it feel weird for you knowing she was out there watching you like that."

"Yeah, it was bad at first, then got better the more we got into it. By the time you took me on the bed, I was just with you, for the most part."

"Don't feel bad. It was just like that for me too. You know, having been one of the founding members, it's strange that I never did one of these before. I've seen dozens, but until you ... I just didn't feel it."

We find Clair and Mani sitting where we left them once we get back out front. Aaron is swamped by old friends and well wishers and I slip away to touch base with Sis and Mani. When they see me walking toward them, their big smiles greet me. It's Mani who jumps up and hugs me and showers kisses on the side of my face.

"That was so beautiful Shannon. We could feel your shared love all the way out here. You looked like you were in heaven or something."

"Well, now I know what you went through up there. I was nervous through almost the whole thing." I look over at Clair, her bemused smirk impossible for me to interpret. "Well Sis, I hope that wasn't awkward for you."

"No, not awkward — I wouldn't use that word. I haven't quite found the right words to say all the things that went through my head. One thing for sure though, Aaron loves you. Every move he makes with you — his words and the way I've seen him around you at home. He loves you and I hope you know that. Trust me, it's a rare and precious thing."

Her words drive home what I already knew. I think back to where it all started and try to find the moment it turned to love — but cannot. I look at Clair — we lock eyes and she smiles ever so slightly while raising her eyebrows in a question. I know what she's silently asking; 'What now? What are you going to do with this love?'

I answer her out loud, "I don't know."

"Don't worry, that's part of it. You'll figure it out."

Sweet Mani had gone to snag me a beer. He comes back with that and another soda for Clair. I sit down and gratefully take a big drink — it's over. I'm glad it's done. I'm glad we did it — I really think it put what we have together in focus. The only nagging doubt is how this might affect Clair. Will she feel left out? How do we all share in this growing love?

Epilogue:

All Things Pass and Life Moves Forward

Aaron tries to resolve Shannon's questions about Clair over the course of time. When he tells the twins that he really would like them both to join him in life, all three of them know inside that it should be. He tells them that he's thought a lot about it and wants to get legally married to one of them so they will have more security in life. It's not a casual decision but through several months of discussion and thinking, the twins agree.

The unasked questions beg for an answers. Aaron is happy with both twins living with him, but the long term prospects make him concerned. But life goes forward and the three lovers make time for each other. Yes, they grow closer — but Clair too worries and her worries are for her brother Shannon. She's always been the older sister — even it that is only by a few minutes. But she sees Shannon with Aaron — she sees the adoration, the change in her brother's whole outlook on life. With a wisdom beyond her years, Clair knows it is their relationship that must ascend.

When Clair begins her college classes again, she grows less dependent on Aaron and Shannon for a social life. As time unfolds, the three settle into a comfortable life. Clair eventually makes it clear that she considers Shannon to be Aaron's mate. She loves them both, and they rescued her — something she'll never forget. It was her way of easing out of their life — a time of reshaping their relationships. As the months pass, she begins dating a man she met at school. The connection between Clair and her new lover grows — Aaron and Shannon meet James and approve of him and truly like him. When Clair tells "her guys" that she's moving in with James, they're not surprised and offer them both support and encouragement.

Aaron and Shannon are the first couple to marry. Almost two years later they get to attend Clair's marriage ceremony to James.

After Clair and her husband graduate, their careers take them overseas — Aaron and Shannon miss them, but know his sister and her new husband must also build their lives together. That's just what Aaron and Shannon do as well ... build a life that has a foundation of unexpected love that supports everything. A love that might have never been if a new dairy was never built — if life hadn't forced a young man north to find work so he could support himself and his sister — and what if the existing septic system at the dairy project could have handled more temporary housing? Funny how such small things can deflect the trajectory of our lives ... and the outcome.

THE END

A Note To Those Who Read This

I hope that if you've read to this point that you can walk away satisfied. Just so you know, I've added up the word count of every part of this story; You should be proud of yourself because you've read about 71,500 words (about 19 pages on Literotica ~ or a short romance novel). Obviously, the story could have continued. I hope the Epilogue gave enough resolution to this tale. Sorry if a couple of the parts were a bit longer than others — there was no obvious place to break them up. I want to thank you for sticking to the end and invite you to let me know your thoughts below or by private feedback. I also hope that each of you has love in your life regardless of your gender identity or sexuality. That is the message I had in my head when writing this.

I also want to give a big 'thank-you' to Omenainen for proof-reading this story. It would not be nearly as good without that help. I encourage anyone who likes these more loving stories to go read some of Omenainen's work which is primarily heterosexual. And finally, I hope that in these times of pandemic and so much uncertainty that you hold firm to inner peace ... despite the sometimes harsh realities of life, it's still a beautiful world. ~ yukonnights
