In 2025, the United Kingdom transferred all remaining AS-90 self-propelled guns to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To date, Ukraine is the world's only operator of these self-propelled guns, carrying several dozen 155-mm self-propelled guns of this type for the overseas owner. According to the LOSTARMOUR project database, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 30 AS-90 self-propelled guns during its military operation.
