This animated adventure series of Bruce Wayne, billionaire by day, crime fighter by night, starts as Wayne balances life as a free-wheeling bachelor, with his role as the Caped Crusader. He's joined on occasion by Robin and Batgirl. Black Mask, Killer Moth, the Everywhere Man, and a brand-new Clayface join The Joker, Penguin, and The Riddler in ceaselessly tormenting Gotham City. Can Batman stop them once and for all?
A young Bruce Wayne is in his third year of trying to establish himself as Batman, protector of Gotham City. Living in Gotham, a metropolis where shadows run long and deep, beneath elevated train tracks, this younger Batman will confront each of his familiar foes for the first time.
This is analysis of The Batman TV series if you just hate this one, maybe you shouldn't read it if you have an open mind then go ahead and i hope you enjoy this text

First of all really the people why people hate "the batman" so much.In first place most of them do it just because they liked the 90's series of the production of "Bruce Timm", let me say about this two things if you can get moving with times then you will get old in a world that is already not for you. Yes this new batman has flashing gadgets and all that. And the fights are so much exaggerated and all that. But let's just think if batman does not advance in his technology and fighting skills then it would be like having superman of the 40's in our days he could be killed very easily. And then it comes a point why the enemies characters in the batman fight or do have an ability superior to that of any previous incarnation? simple if batman does advance then his enemies must do the same in fighting and other things.About the other things yes the production of batman of 90's(or TAS like some people call it)to the horrible JLU show. Yes batman TAS was better but some of the episodes were excellent, great not just good because of its writers Paul Dini, Alan Burnett,Rich Fogel,Michael Revees etc. Because of that like half the show is good and the other is Excellent a masterpiece. This batman may not be the same production but is still good, like JLU yes "Bruce Timm".... but the writers and directors for the episodes were not the same of batman TAS, Dini wrote three episodes and he is the original creator of Harley Queen, Dine wrote the Harley Queen episode for "the Batman", Capizzi worked on superman doomsday, Alan Burnett wrote the Superman - Batman episode and it was just great, one of the better depictions of superman working with batman, even better than the one of 90's (Superman TAS),for if it is for children maybe(personally i don't think so that much, and i have seen all versions of batman animated or real),if you consider this then don't watch the show, if you really analyze "The batman" then you will see that somethings that happens are not for children, by example the police trying to catch Batman even more than in Batman TAS, in batman TAS Harvey friend Bruce became Two-Face in "The batman" Bennet the friend of Bruce became clay-face I, and so on if you think of it Robin was nearly and adult just like Batgirl, then you can say nothing about that because they were adults, (maybe Tim Frake but he didn't appear that much) in "the Batman" Robin is a kid ranging from 10 to 12 years old. just like the one of silver age(the original was 8) and like in the Frank Miller Comics and so on, etc., etc. Yhe art is just different horrible art the one from other American comedy shows.this own is different fluid and has some very good light effects, as a side note: some people criticize that some of the characters are horrible, have you just think that the Batman rogues of all times , are considered the monsters of society, the more monstrous depiction doesn't seem bad to me, if they are ridiculous or monstrous, or plain, or charismatic, have you just think that being crazy doesn't imply that you have to be like the joker of batman TAS(even if he is the greatest villain i have ever seen), most of the characters from the batman myths are crazy in a widely range of ways. or are just criminals or you can see them as victims etc.

Finally as i said in the beginning maybe you find something interesting in this text or not. I have just said what i have to say about"The Batman" is finally your choice to see it or not. But don't go just saying "The batman is horrible, is barf, etc." It is really a good show an yes children can enjoy it. For me i gave it a 8.5 out of 10
Love almost everything about it. At first I didn't care for the animation style, but I have gotten used to some of it. I like the way that Alfred the cops are drawn, and I LOVE Selena Kyle, but some of the villains seem over-stylized, as do Robin and Batgirl. I like the man himself except for Bruce/Batman's head, the top of which consistently seems too small for his face, while some other characters are appropriately proportioned. But the writing is pretty good, which is helping me deal with any qualms I have over the more kids cartoon-y look of the artwork. It feels sort of Disney-esque as well as anime, at least to me, which sort of clashes with the Dark Knight's whole theme. It feels like the colors are sort of over saturated where I think subtlety would have been more appropriate. Overall, the look of it is a somewhat jarring yet constant reminder that it is a cartoon.

That being said, I doubt there is a more perfect rendition of the Bat than the 1992 Batman: The Animated Series. THAT one is flawless from the ground up. Style, casting, writing left nothing to be desired (Kevin Conroy FOREVER - how DARE you say otherwise! Bruce/Bat were notably different, so I don't know what that other reviewer is talking about.). And that isn't kiddy nostalgia talking, since that came out when I was already an adult, and I STILL couldn't wait to get home to see it. Great show.

But since that one is gone, this is the next best thing in terms of writing. This one is growing on me some, though, and if the idea of a rather Korean looking Bruce/Batman doesn't cause you any cognitive dissonance in the anime feel, then you may find it to be quite awesome.

The series The Batman begins in Batman's third year. In the graphic novel BATMAN: YEAR ONE, by Frank Miller & David Mazzucchelli, Bruce Wayne is 26 years old when he debuts as Batman. If this timeline holds for The Batman then Bruce is 28 or 29 at the beginning of the series. However, the producers of "The Batman" have made Bruce younger in this series--25 in season one (Bruce's "Year Three" as Batman). The first episode of season five gives the best sense of the passage of time: We are told right up front that one year has passed since the alien invasion of the Joining. Bruce is probably around 29 in season five.

Bruce Wayne's Golden-Age (Earth-2) birthday is April 14, 1915. Modern tradition places Bruce Wayne's birthdate on February 19th. So far, there are no plans to add the villains Two-Face, Scarecrow, or Ra's al Ghul to The Batman (although a preliminary design for the Scarecrow was originally created). Modern tradition holds that Dick Grayson was born in March on the first day of Spring. In the comics, the Golden-Age (1940s) Dick Grayson was 8 years old when he became Robin. During the Silver Age (1950s & '60s), Dick's age was adjusted to 12 when Robin debuted. Robin appears to be around 12 or 13 years old when he first appears on The Batman. By season five, Robin is shown to be attending high school and is probably 14. In adjusted continuity, Barbara Gordon (daughter of Police Commissioner James Gordon) was 16 years old when she debuted as Batgirl in the DC Comics Universe (BATGIRL: YEAR ONE, 2004). On The Batman, Barbara is introduced as a high-school student, appearing to be about 16. By the show's fifth season, Barbara is a college freshman (probably 18 years old). The first episode of season five gives the best sense of the passage of time: We are told right up front that one year has passed since the alien invasion of the Joining. When the third season of The Batman was being produced, Cartoon Network's Teen Titans series was still in production. Since Robin was a regular on Teen Titans, Batgirl was introduced in season three as Batman's first sidekick. In the beginning of the series, only Alfred Pennyworth (Bruce Wayne's butler) and (as revealed in the 4th season episode "The Joining") Lucius Fox of Wayne Industries know that Bruce Wayne is Batman. Eventually, Batman reveals his secret to others: Robin, Batgirl, and fellow Justice Leaguers the Martian Manhunter (who reads the secret in Batman's mind), Superman (who uses X-ray vision to look under the cowl), Green Arrow and Green Lantern. Gotham City is a fictional U.S. port city located on the north-eastern Atlantic coast. It was originally a stand-in for New York City, but has also been likened to other crime-ridden urban centers such as Chicago and Detroit. Some sources have placed Gotham City in the state of New Jersey; however, this cannot be considered definitive.

The current DC Universe version of Gotham City is actually a small island connected to the mainland by a series of bridges and tunnels. The east and south sides of Gotham face the Atlantic Ocean. The city is further divided by the Sprang River (named for Dick Sprang) on the northern end and the Finger River (for Bill Finger) to the south. Tiny Blackgate Isle to the south-east is home to Blackgate Maximum Security Penitentiary.

Parts of Batman Begins (2005) were filmed in Chicago, Illinois. The Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane is first mentioned (as Arkham Hospital) in "The Threat of the Two-Headed Coin!" in BATMAN #258 (October 1974) by Dennis O'Neil. The first specific reference to "Arkham Asylum" was in the story "This One'll Kill You, Batman!" also by Dennis O'Neil in BATMAN #260 (February 1975). The name was inspired by the fictitious New England city of Arkham created by H.P. Lovecraft. Sources are saying that the fifth season of The Batman will be the final one. This will give the show a total of 65 episodes, plus the spin-off DTV movie The Batman Vs.Dracula. The possibility exists for more DTVs in the future; however, none have been announced. Batgirl was introduced in third season of the show. And Robin debuted in season four. However, Batman doesn't meet any other super heroes until the two-part fourth season finale "The Joining". "The Joining" has Batman team up with Justice Leaguers the Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, the Flash and Hawkman to repel an alien invasion. And in season five Batman is also slated to meet Superman and Aquaman. a5c7b9f00b
