The Art of Living

It's about discovering brightness even in the darkest places and understanding that beauty can exist even when things aren't perfect. Even a storm adds depth to the sky, and each crack silently creates a pattern. Life isn't supposed to be perfect, but it's meant to be experienced—taking your time, living completely, and finding purpose in each moment.

Control what you can control. Let go of what you cannot. Living by other people’s judgments will only wound you from within. 'The art of living' is when you can remain happy with your own choices, without letting others’ opinions dictate the direction of your life.

Romanticizing the situation when we are at the last point, at the bottom of the most silent, is indeed not an easy matter. It feels like standing in a silent, cold, and questionable void. But I learned, even at the lowest point, the light never really goes out. My way of romanticizing it is simple, I just look around and realize there is still someone who still loves me, there are still arms willing to hug me amidst the silence, seeing my friends smile, living their lives happily, somehow it also grows a small light in my chest. I also understand, romanticizing life is not always about grand things or big celebrations. Sometimes, as simple as a short conversation with a close friend or partner, a series of messages that strengthen each other, is enough to make the world colorful again.

“The Art of Living” isn’t about having a life that’s always beautiful, but about how we choose to see and interpret every part of the journey the bright parts and the dark ones too. Life feels like art when I learn to notice and celebrate the little moments that usually get overlooked. That’s also where I hold onto this principle “Try to be useful, not just successful.” Because if life is a piece of art, then being useful is what actually gives that art its value. Success might look impressive on the outside, but being useful carries a deeper meaning. When my focus isn’t just on achievements but on the impact I can make, my days feel lighter, more genuine, and more meaningful.

The art of living is about romanticizing everything around you. Even when your day feels heavy, you can still find one reason to keep going. In every situation and circumstance, you may find yourself lost in thought, reflecting on many things—but you will also discover something that brings peace to your heart. “Even if it sucks sometimes, life is worth living.”

— Seize.

I’ve started to see life less as something I have to survive, and more as something I get to create like art. Every day feels like a canvas that isn’t always perfect, sometimes messy, sometimes unfinished, but still meaningful in its own way.

For me, living becomes beautiful when I choose to romanticize the small things like; slow mornings, music playing quietly in the background, conversations that linger in my mind, sunsets I almost miss, and moments of silence that let me breathe again. Even ordinary routines can feel poetic when I allow myself to be present in them.

Of course, not every day is easy. There are problems, doubts, and days when everything feels heavy. But art isn’t made only from happiness it’s shaped by contrast, emotion, and imperfection. I’ve learned that struggles don’t ruin the picture; they add depth to it.

“The Art of Living” for me is about finding meaning in the between moments, appreciating growth even when it’s slow, and choosing softness toward life despite its chaos. Because maybe living well isn’t about having a perfect life it’s about learning how to see beauty while you’re still becoming.

The art of living for me isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about letting myself feel things honestly, even when they’re messy. I find comfort in small moments, like a song that suddenly hits a little too close or a quiet night where my thoughts finally slow down. When things go wrong, I try not to see them as something that ruins my day, but as something that shapes it. Writing what I feel helps me make sense of it all. In the end, living feels like an art when I stop rushing through it and actually let myself experience it.

My art of living is choosing calm in the middle of chaos, even when my heart feels loud. I let life unfold the way it needs to, because “Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final.” (Rainer Maria Rilke). I stay soft without disappearing. I feel everything without drowning. What is meant for me will stay without force.
