Synopsis:
Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck), the forensic accountant with high-functioning autism and lethal combat skills, has been living off the grid since exposing a major financial conspiracy. But when a former client—a whistleblower named Elena Vasquez—is found dead in her apartment, her laptop missing and her financial records wiped, Wolff is pulled back into the shadows of corporate crime.

The only clue? A single handwritten note left in Elena’s safe: 'They’re laundering through art. Find the ledger.'

Act 1: The Phantom Ledger

Wolff resurfaces, tracking Elena’s last movements to a high-end auction house in Zurich. There, he uncovers a pattern: shell companies buying obscure paintings at inflated prices, then reselling them through private dealers—a classic money-laundering scheme. But the amounts are staggering: $2.3 billion over five years.

Meanwhile, IRS Agent Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) is investigating the same trail, unaware that her boss is compromised. When Wolff saves her from an ambush, they form a tense alliance.

Act 2: The Syndicate

The money leads to 'The Carthage Group,' a private military contractor with ties to a powerful senator. Their CFO, Daniel Voss (Toby Kebbell), is a financial savant who uses Wolff’s own methods against him—erasing digital footprints, exploiting offshore loopholes, and hiring elite mercenaries to eliminate threats.

A brutal fight in a Geneva bank vault leaves Wolff wounded but in possession of a single encrypted flash drive—the phantom ledger Elena died for.

Act 3: The Blood Balance

Wolff decrypts the files, revealing Carthage’s true operation: not just laundering money, but funding black-ops assassinations under the guise of 'charitable donations.' The senator is the linchpin, using his influence to bury audits.

In a climactic showdown at a gala fundraiser, Wolff forces Voss to transfer the stolen billions into a DOJ-seized account—live-streaming the transaction to Medina. Voss tries to flee but is gunned down by his own mercenaries under 'cleanup' orders.

Epilogue:
The senator is arrested, the money recovered. But as Wolff disappears again, Medina receives a final message:
