http://urllio.com/qyyg6Meet Hannibal (Liam Neeson), Face (Bradley Cooper), B.A. (Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson), and Murdoch (Sharlto Copley). Together, they make the A-Team, a group of skilled army rangers with eighty successive missions under their belt. Stationed out in Iraq, they are approached by CIA agent Lynch (Patrick Wilson) who offers them a job involving stolen USD mint plates and a billion dollars in counterfeit money. The A-Team takes up the job, only to find that it's a setup. Court-martialed and sentenced to four individual prisons - one psychiatric ward, in Murdoch's case - the team is almost a distant memory. Six months later, Hannibal escapes prison and pulls together the team to take down the man who set them up and restore their names. With a demoted captain (Jessica Biel) on their tail - who happens to be Face's old flame - the team races to seize the plates again, only to discover that nothing is as it seems.
Four American soldiers who are in Iraq are sent on a mission to recover plates for printing 100 dollar bills that were used to print a billion dollars. After doing the job and returning to the base their commanding officer is killed in an explosion and the plates are stolen by another operative. They would be court martialed and sent to different prisons. 6 months later, the leader, Hannibal Smith is visited by a CIA spook who tells him he knows where the man who took the plates is and wants him and his men to recover it. So he helps him escape and he breaks out the others and they go after the plates. But after doing it, they discover that the spook might not be ok. And a military intelligence officer who was involved with one of them is pursuing them.
I thought that the big blockbuster version of THE A-TEAM stuck pretty much to the principles of the long running (and often repeated) show from the 80's.

Director Joe Carnahan succeeded in capturing the essence of the vibe of the A-Team series and the actors playing the main A-Team cast members (Liam Neeson as Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith, Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson as Cpl. Bosco 'B.A.' Baracus, and Sharlo Copley as Murdock) gave very credible performances that stayed true to the original.

Other good performances were by Jessica Biel as Charisa Sosa (as the ex-love interest) and Brian Bloom as the main "baddie" Pike.

The story concept certainly didn't depart far from the original either in that it told the tale of a team of 4 soldiers with exceptional "talents" that get wrongly accused of a war-crime that they didn't commit – only to be court marshalled and imprisoned in separate detention centre's – only for them to escape, team up and try to catch the "real" bad guys in an attempt to clear their name and get re-instated within the army

There is certainly nothing new in this film – it is very, very much repetition of the original series concepts, story and characters – the acting is adequate – but not brilliant
probably with the notable exception of Sharlo Copley as Murdock who stole the show with every scene he was in
and the direction and the camera work at times seemed very rushed – especially during many of the numerous action scenes

The A-TEAM is a film for fans of the original series and people who like lots of action sequences – without too much attention to narrative or acting ability
and the Director delivers on this promise
it's ridiculous – but it's fun !

I think the A-TEAM will probably be a successful franchise
with all the potential merchandising off-shoots and with the likelihood of sequels on the way
especially geared towards people who like shoot-em-up action films without to much thinking to be done or for allowing a good story to get in the way
(Credit IMDb) A group of Iraq War veterans looks to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.

I've never really seen the T.V show, so I went into this movie with low expectations. As it turns out, my low expectations were met completely. I love some dumb action, but this was too noisy and overblown for its own good. The cast is fun at times, but not enough to make this anything than mediocre. It reminds me of a bad Transformers sequel. It has plenty of loud and unexciting action, a great cast, but no proper substance. Liam Neeson is good as a gruff, cigar chomper, but he is slumming it a bit. I don't remember much about this movie. I saw it when it came out in 2010, and remember being thoroughly underwhelmed.

4/10
The players embrace this for the lark it is. Their pleasure in going this gonzo spills off the screen.
The A-Team is based on , a TV series that ran from 1983-1987. The storyline was adapted for the film by screenwriters Skip Woods, Michael Brandt, and Derek Haas. Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict both had a cameo appearance in a short scene after the closing credits. Mr. T does not make a cameo appearance. George Peppard passed away in 1994. If you're referring to the movie then it's called "House of Pain" by The Game. You can find the rest of the songs with their corresponding scenes here. The unrated extended cut provides many extensions to balance out the action/story ratio. F-bombs, removed from the theatrical version, have been re-integrated into the movie as well. In total, nearly 19 minutes of prolonged story sequences can be found in the extended cut. a5c7b9f00b
