On the occasion of the February holiday, the 14th Nationwide Culinary Art Competition was held in various places.

A competition was held in the Hwasong restaurant in Pyongyang, divided into the areas of ministries, central departments, Public Services, catering, foreign service, and housewives. The competition included an exhibition of dishes and an art competition.

The exhibition attracted the attention of visitors to Pyonganrenmen, green tea, and others, who presented various units, including Okry Restaurant, Pyongyang Hotel, and the Moranbong District Restaurant Association.

The culinary art of the representatives of the Cheongryu restaurant, the Association of Restaurants in the Taedong district and the Association of Restaurants in the Pyeongchong district, and the housewives competition, which showed culinary art practiced during family life, also lifted the atmosphere.

At competitions in the provinces of South and North Pyeongchang, Chagan, Gangwon, South Hamgyong, Ryangan, Rason and Kaesong, participants prepared dishes that emphasized the specifics of their area, as well as dishes that contribute to the development of our food culture.

Distinguished units and participants were awarded certificates of commendation, medals and diplomas.
