It’s the whole of Thailand. Thais are accepting of whatever lifestyle you choose so long as you aren’t hurting anyone. I’m Thai. I say go for it if you want.

The karmic wheel has rolled around and now you're a ladyboy. And should someone take it up on themselves to abuse you- well karma is a bitch and will roll right around.
Nobody cares, nobody worries and so long as you don't hurt others you're welcome to your perclavity. In fact ladyboys are over represented in entertainment and my daughters take make up advice from their very stylish and attractive older ladyboy cousin. Who has a beauty salon and an encyclopedic knowledge of Barbie, make up and fashion.
There's unpleasant ladyboys and lovely natured ladyboys. No different from other people. And in the main other Thais treat them well.
So come, wear a frock and size 10 high heels. For sure you'll not be alone and nor will you really standout.
And as an edit. My missus is from a speck of Thailand called Ban Dung, its supposedly near Udon Thani but is actually closer to Laos than Udon Thani city and next to Ban Cok, should anyone wish to verify on Google maps that this unlikely named village exists. And where her folks farm a little bit of jungle.
A few kms down the dirt track there's a couple- both 40+ hard working and well liked rice farmers. Like everybody else they have a second job, my Father in law has a Tuk Tuk, my MIL sells pigs and eggs. The couple down the road do roofing and run a s/h ladies clothes bizz.
He dresses as a woman and runs their clothes stall. She dress's as a man, all four foot ten of her, and does roofing. They have a son about 14 or so. Perfectly normal teenager.
We were driving past- him tall for a thai and in a dress, her very short with jeans and a straw hat, they were introduced to me as “she's a Tom, he's a katoy”. Nobody, not even in the back of beyond, thinks this odd or worthy of further comment or explanation.
