LUFKIN, TX -- A Texas teacher admitted to having sex with four high school students, two at the same time and two others on multiple occasions, school district police said in an arrest affidavit.
Heather Lee Robertson, 38, of Lufkin, Texas, is charged with four counts of improper relationship between educator and student.
According to the affidavit, a Hudson independent school district police officer began investigating the case on April 20, after receiving information about inappropriate relationships between a teacher and several high school students.
One student told police said he had been sexually involved with Roberson for the past few weeks. He said he started chatting and sexting with Robertson through Snapchat shortly after spring break and Robertson asked him to come to her apartment, so they could have sex. He said he was with a friend, another student, and Robertson said it was okay for the friend to come along.
Both students told police they had sex with Robertson at the same time during the encounter.
The officer then spoke to two other students, who said they had sex with Robertson on a few occasions. They said they would sneak out of their houses and Robertson would pick them up and take them back to her apartment to have sex and then take them back home.
The officer then spoke to Robertson, who admitted to the allegations, according to the affidavit. She said she had recently become a heavy drinker and would sometimes not remember the details of the encounters.
Hudson ISD told Crimesider it was not commenting on the allegations. School policy prohibits teachers from having inappropriate relationships with students, reports KTRE.
“School employees are always in the public eye, and the expectation is that they will always observe professional boundaries in their personal relationships with students,” the district’s handbook states.

A female teacher allegedly had a four-year sexual relationship with one of her students which started when he was just 15, and sent him voicemail messages declaring her love for him.
Misty Lorene Cato, 43, a fifth-grade math teacher in the Springtown Intermediate School, admitted to police that she had sex with the underage victim several times in multiple counties, according to Parker County Sheriff's Office.
She left him a voice message, which was seized by investigators before her arrest on Friday, saying she loved him for years and 'seeing him again makes her want to be with him again,' according to the sheriff's office.
The victim said the sexual abuse started in in Azle, Texas , when he was 15 years old, the Parker County Sheriff's office said.
He was enrolled in the Azle Independent School District at the time, which is about 30 minutes outside Fort Worth.
Misty Lorene Cato, 43, who is a current math teacher in Springtown Intermediate School in North Texas, is accused of having sexual relations with a student for years starting when he was 15 years old.
The relationship allegedly continued for 'several years at various addresses' in Parker and Tarrant counties, including inside of one of Cato's previous Springtown, Texas homes.
Cato drove the boy to school multiple times, according to police.
Springtown Intermediate School placed Cato on administrative leave once school officials became aware of the allegations, according to the sheriff's office.
Daily Mail has approached Springtown Intermediate School officials for a comment.
Park County Sheriff Russ Authier said in a statement that these types of cases are 'a shame.'
'It is imperative that our children attend school in a safe environment,' Authier said. 'Educators play a vital role in that safe environment and have a duty to protect our children.'
The sheriff said the student was offered counseling at the Parker County Children's Advocacy Center, and the sheriff's office has investigators who help provide services to the victim. where his healing can begin.
'This reduces the burden on the victim by not having to repeatedly tell their story,' Authier said.
Cato faces second-degree improper relationship between an educator and a student. Her bond was set at $100,000.

A Texas middle school teacher has been sentenced to prison for having sex with her 15-year-old student — including when she was pregnant, PEOPLE confirms.

Katherine Harper had a months-long sexual relationship last year with a student she met at Tidwell Middle School in Roanoke, where she’d been an English teacher, cheerleading coach and tennis coach, police said when she was arrested in April 2017. At the time of her arrest, she was eight months pregnant, but it was unclear whether the teen was the baby’s father.

Harper, 28, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault of a child and one count of having an improper relationship with a student, PEOPLE confirms.

On Thursday, she was sentenced to six years in prison and 10 years probation.

After Harper was arrested, police said she and the student — who she taught at the middle school — exchanged naked photos of each other using their cell phones, sent provocative text messages back and forth and eventually had sex at the boy’s home.

After the initial sexual encounter, which police said included alcohol, the pair had sex either at his or her home from June 1, 2016 to July 31, 2016, the Star-Telegram reported at the time , citing an arrest warrant affidavit.

School officials launched an investigation into the relationship in December 2016 after receiving an anonymous tip. When questioned by a school official, the boy cried and admitted to the sexual relationship, the Star-Telegram reported.

School officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment from PEOPLE.

A former Texas sixth grade teacher will spend two months in prison for having a three-year relationship with one of her students, who was between the ages of 12 and 15 at the time. She will be given until June 2023 to surrender for her brief prison sentence due to the recent birth of her child.
This week, 32-year-old Marka Bodine went before Harris County Judge George Glass who sentenced her to 60 days in prison and 10 years of probation following her guilty plea on the charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child, ABC13 reported. The sentence was postponed due to the recent birth of her child. She has until June 5, 2023, to report to jail. The underage victim was not the child’s father, according to a New York Post report. The defendant was an English teacher for Tomball ISD north of Houston.
The sentence came as a surprise to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, which requested a minimum sentence of 20 years in prison, District Attorney Kim Ogg revealed in a Facebook post.
“I’m heartbroken for the complainant and his family. I’m really disappointed in the outcome as a prosecutor – a child abuse prosecutor, and I’m disappointed as a citizen of Harris County,” Harris County Prosecutor Janna Oswald, chief of the Crimes Against Children Division told NBC2 .
The case came to light in April 2021, when Bodine reported to the school principal that a former student who was 16 at the time was harassing her and threatening to harm himself, affidavits revealed. During an investigation, the student claimed a relationship with Bodine lasted almost three years. The relationship began in 2018 when the male victim was a 6th-grade student of Bodine’s. The two began chatting through the video game Fortnite and then turned to text messages. Once the student turned 13, the relationship turned sexual. Over the course of three years, Bodine sent roughly 40 explicit images of herself to the teen.
During that time, Bodine went through a divorce and moved into the same apartment complex of the teen victim. Bodine had sex with the student in her classroom and in her vehicle.
