A man in Texas received a 10-year prison sentence after having sex with a horse and sexually assaulting others.
On Wednesday, KSAT reported that Jean Marie Bugoma was convicted after pleading guilty to bestiality.
The abhorrent acts occurred at a San Antonio equine boarding facility at least three times between June 2020 and February 2021.
In the initial instance, Bugoma was captured on surveillance walking through the stables while naked, as noted in an arrest affidavit.
The horses’ owner noticed that after two of his horses sustained injuries. A veterinarian later determined that the animals had been sexually assaulted.

Authorities said Bugoma went to the stables again months later and had sex with one of the horses.
Two other horses were “hobbled,” meaning their legs were bound together.
Once the owner caught Bugoma back at the stable in February last year, authorities then got a warrant, and DNA was taken from one of the horses and from the stalls. And the DNA ended up matching Bugoma.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only time a situation like this occurred.
In June 2021, Jonah Barrett-Lesko from Durango, Colorado, was allegedly filmed molesting a horse.
And after being arrested for trespassing charges stemming from a string of robberies in September 2021, Barrett-Lesko broke out of jail.
He was seen rushing past a Home Depot in a full jail uniform as Durango police began their search.
At some point during the ordeal, Barrett-Lesko shed his jumpsuit, which police said made it easier to spot him.

TEXAS allows the carrying of deadly concealed weapons on campus, but walking around with a sex toy could get you arrested.
Sex toys are described as an "obscene device" in the state.
Openly displayed sex toys are illegal under indecency laws in Texas .
The law labels the sex toy as an "obscene device".
Texas bans owning or promoting the use of more than six dildos.
Approved in the 1970s, the law bans as obscene any device used "primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs".
It specifically declares it a crime if someone "possesses six or more obscene devices or identical or similar obscene articles".
The same law says that anyone with six or more "devices" is presumed to be promoting sex-toy usage through manufacture, sale, lending, delivery or other means.
Texas is one of the last states - all in the South - to retain such a ban.
However, after a mum was arrested in a high-profile sting for breaking the obscenity law, sex-toy companies sued in federal court to challenge the constitutionality of the state’s ban.
As a result, the federal appeals court overturned the statute outlawing sex toy sales in Texas, reported CBS News in 2008.
The 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the law violated the right to privacy guaranteed by the 14th Amendment.
Despite that ruling, lawmakers haven't actually taken that law "off the books", notes the Chron .
Politifact confirmed in 2017 that the state law restricting "obscene devices" "remains in place despite being found unconstitutional by a federal appeals court nearly a decade ago".
Chron reported that "the law in question appears to be aimed at adult performances, as it spells out use in a 'play, motion picture, dance, or other exhibition performed before an audience'."
However, "it does make exceptions for people who have multiple devices for medical purposes".
The Chron points out that "you can legally own more guns than sex toys in the Lone Star State".
People can face a year in prison if convicted.
They would also have to pay a $4,000 fine.
Certain countries from the Maldives to Saudi Arabia , have bans on sex toys.
In Texas there was an attempt to prosecute Joanne Webb, an ex-elementary school teacher and mother after charging her with breaking Texas's obscenity laws.
Under-cover investigators, who had posed as a couple, had her arrested after she helped them choose a few sex toys to purchase through Passion Parties in 2003, reported ABC News.
She was "one of many women — housewives, grandmothers and mothers — who joined Passion Parties in an effort to make a living while educating ladies on how to spice up their sex life," the broadcaster added.
However, the criminal charges against Webb were eventually dropped.
And a handful of sex-toy companies successfully sued in federal court to challenge the constitutionality of the state’s ban.
Lyn Comella slammed "Texas's dildo laws" as a "draconian measure to regulate women’s sexuality".
She added: "For years, the standing joke was 'it’s easier to buy a handgun in Texas than a vibrator.' It wasn’t exactly an exaggeration."
To get around the state's strict laws, adult shops have to 'fly under the radar' to avoid attention, she explained.
For example, staff don't use the word "dildo" in sex toy stores.
Instead, they get customers to sign a release form indicating they are buying devices for “strictly educational and/or scientific purposes".
Alabama 's anti-obscenity law, enacted in 1998, bans the distribution of "any device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs for anything of pecuniary value'.'
The law does not ban the possession of sex toys, however, writes Wave3 News .
The website reported that residents "may legally purchase sex toys out of state for use in Alabama, or they may buy sexual devices in Alabama that have a 'bona fide medical' purpose".
Mark Lopez, a former American Civil Liberties Union attorney. said: "Similar laws have been upheld in Georgia , Mississippi , and Texas, but struck down in Louisiana , Kansas and Colorado ."

A Texas mom used her time at the podium during a school board meeting to rant about sexually explicit content -- namely anal sex.
The woman, who is being identified online as Kara Bell , attended the meeting -- which was supposed to be about COVID -- to bring up her concerns in a book available to middle school students.
According to Bell, the book, titled "Out of Darkness" by Ashley Hope Pérez features a section about anal sex, which she feels is highly inappropriate.
Bell told the board, “I do not want my children to learn about anal sex in middle school,” Bell said. “I’ve never had anal sex. I don’t want to have anal sex. I don’t want my kids having anal sex. I want you to start focusing on education and not public health!”
The school board reportedly pulled the book from library shelves following Bell
