Terms of Use for PDFScanner

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using PDFScanner (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

3. In-App Purchases

The App may offer in-app purchases, including subscriptions and one-time features. Payments are processed through Apple’s App Store in accordance with Apple’s policies. All transactions are final, except as required by applicable law or Apple’s refund policies.

When a user submits a refund request for an in-app purchase, Apple may require certain information to process and verify the request. In such cases, we may provide Apple with strictly limited, anonymized data regarding how the purchased content was consumed. This may include, but is not limited to:

Time elapsed since installation of the App.
Total duration of App usage.
An anonymous account identifier.
Whether the purchased feature was fully consumed.
Whether a trial period was included.
The total amount spent by the user.
The refunded transaction amount.

This data is shared exclusively for the purpose of validating refund requests and does not contain personally identifiable information.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

Use the App for unlawful purposes.
Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App.
Interfere with or disrupt the security and functionality of the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of PDFScanner (including design, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App’s operation, availability, or suitability for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of data or business interruption.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, if you violate these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted in the App or on our website with the revised “Effective Date.”
