Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Sendr app for iPhone ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The Service

Sendr helps you prepare personalized messages for groups of contacts and send them one by one through SMS, iMessage, email, or WhatsApp. The App is a composition and organization tool: it does not operate a messaging network, does not deliver messages itself, and does not guarantee that any message is delivered.

Your Responsibility for Messages

You are solely responsible for every message you send with the App, for its content, and for choosing its recipients. By using the App you confirm that:

• you have the recipients' consent to contact them, where consent is required;
• your messages comply with all applicable laws, including anti-spam and marketing rules such as the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and equivalent rules in your country;
• you honor opt-out requests and stop contacting people who ask you to stop;
• you do not use the App to send spam, scams, phishing, harassment, hate speech, malware, or any unlawful content;
• you do not use the App to impersonate another person or organization.

We do not review your messages and have no access to them. Violations are your responsibility and may also violate the terms of Apple, your carrier, or the messaging service you send through.

Carrier and Service Rules

Sending messages may incur charges from your mobile carrier or email provider. Carriers and messaging services (including Apple and WhatsApp) may rate-limit, filter, or block bulk sending, and may suspend your account for it. Those rules are outside our control and outside our responsibility.

Contacts Access

The App asks for access to your contacts so you can select recipients and personalize messages. You may grant full access, limited access, or deny access in iOS Settings at any time. Contact data stays on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Privacy and Diagnostics

Your contacts, messages, and templates stay on your device. The App collects anonymous usage events and crash reports through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics so we can fix bugs and improve the App; this never includes your contacts or message content, and you can opt out in Settings. AI Features

AI writing and rewriting features run on your device via Apple Intelligence and are available only on supported devices and iOS versions. AI-generated text may be inaccurate, awkward, or inappropriate for your situation. Always review a message before sending it. You remain responsible for the final content.

Shortcuts and Automation

Assisted sending requires you to install and run a Shortcuts automation on your device. Automation behavior depends on Apple's Shortcuts app and iOS, and may change or break with system updates. We do not guarantee that assisted sending will work on every device or in every iOS version.

Free and PRO Features

The App offers free features and paid PRO features via in-app purchase or subscription. Prices, limits, and the feature split may change. Payments, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple through the App Store, subject to Apple's terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• resell, rent, or redistribute the App or its content;
• use the App to build a competing product;
• attempt to bypass purchase, entitlement, or usage limits.

Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by us and protected by copyright. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. Content you create in the App (messages, templates, contact data) remains yours.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that messages will be delivered, delivered on time, or delivered to the intended recipient.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed messages, carrier charges, account suspensions, or reputational harm arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

Data and Backups

All App data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the App deletes that data. You are responsible for your own backups. We cannot recover data for you, because we never receive it.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the App or any feature at any time.

Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App, and is not responsible for handling any claim related to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
