Terms of Use - Money Manager

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and [COMPANY/DEVELOPER LEGAL NAME]. By downloading or using the App, you agree to them.

1) Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and be at least 16 years old (or the local minimum). If the App offers accounts, you’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account.

2) License & restrictions

You receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, per the Apple Media Services Terms.

You will not:

reverse engineer or attempt to access source code (except where permitted by law);
bypass security or usage limits;
use the App to store/transmit unlawful content or malware;
infringe others’ rights or violate law/these Terms.

User content. You retain ownership of the financial entries and other content you input. You grant us a limited license to process such content solely to provide and improve the App (e.g., sync, backup, diagnostics), per the Privacy Policy.

3) In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

We may offer paid features via auto-renewing subscriptions or other IAPs.

Billing: Your Apple ID is charged upon purchase confirmation.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Renewal charges: Debited within 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage/cancel: Manage or cancel in App Store account settings after purchase.
Free trials: If offered, any unused trial portion is forfeited when you purchase.
Refunds: Handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms (contact Apple Support).
Price changes: We may change prices; you’ll be notified and, where required, asked to consent before continuation.
Taxes: Prices may include/exclude taxes depending on your region; you’re responsible where applicable.

Access to subscription features is available only while your subscription is active. Promotional offers may have additional terms.

4) Third-party services

Some features rely on third parties (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting). Their terms may apply; we aren’t responsible for services we don’t control.

5) Updates & changes

We may update the App (including required updates) and these Terms. Material changes may be notified in-App or by reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

6) Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and cancel subscriptions as above. We may suspend/terminate access for breach or to comply with law. After termination, your license ends and you must stop using and delete the App.

7) Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SECURE.

8) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR IAPs IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) US$50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

9) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless [COMPANY/DEVELOPER LEGAL NAME] and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10) Apple terms & beneficiary

You acknowledge: (i) these Terms are between you and us, not Apple; (ii) we are responsible for the App; (iii) Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support; (iv) to the extent any warranty is imposed by law, Apple may refund the purchase price; and (v) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Your use must comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) in addition to these Terms.

11) Governing law; disputes

Option A (United States): These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], excluding its conflicts rules. Arbitration: Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by [ARBITRATION BODY] on an individual basis; class actions are not permitted. You may opt out within 30 days of acceptance by emailing us. Venue for any court proceedings (e.g., to compel arbitration) is [COUNTY, STATE].

Option B (Non-US): These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY/REGION]. Courts of [CITY/COUNTRY]have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you rights in your home country.

Nothing limits your non-waivable consumer rights.

12) Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms and referenced policies (including the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement.
Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Assignment. You may not assign without our consent; we may assign in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
Notices. We may send notices in-App or to your email on file.

When a user requests a refund for an in-app purchase, we may provide Apple with information about the consumption of the purchased content. This data may include details such as the time since installation, total app usage duration, an anonymous account identifier, whether the in-app purchase was entirely used, whether it included a trial period, the total expenditure, and the refunded amount.
