Brief overview of some of new features available on Telegram X for Android.

Changes list

  • Emoji 15.0 support that allows viewing these emoji in Telegram X using any Android version (starting 4.1 Jelly Bean): 🫨, 🩷, 🩵, 🩶, 🐦‍⬛️, 🫏, 🫎, 🪿, 🪽, 🪼, 🪻, 🫛, 🫚, 🪭, 🪮, 🪈, 🪇, 🫸, 🫷, 🪯, 🛜
  • Access more recent stickers using the new button in the panel
  • Better animation when recent or favorite stickers list gets updated
  • New indicator on the main screen that tells whether you have unread unmuted chats in other accounts, or some issue that needs attention.
It follows Settings — Notifications — Badge Counter settings, and may be blue, gray or red.
  • Automatic switch between proxy servers: turn on to automatically try different connections, if the active one stops working.
A moment before "Without Proxy" gets automatically selected
  • Resolved an issue when resuming paused download of any media type could ignore the downloaded part and start from the beginning
  • When you choose sticker in Telegram X, other side will see a special Choosing sticker status
  • Supported custom input field placeholder for bots, when they set them
  • Updated in-app video player and other internal components
  • Bugfixes and optimizations
