Brief overview of some of new features available on Telegram X for Android.

Changes list

Comments and Message Threads
Hold comments button to preview them without reading

Also improved hold to preview animation

View and send media with spoilers
Added Favorites section when sending media through Attach — Gallery, which includes all media you marked as favorite in system gallery
Heart icon in bottom-left corner for favorite media in Attach — Gallery

When you mark some media as favorite in your system gallery, heart icon will be displayed in Telegram X. Incognito icon in the bottom-right corner of send button means you are sending as anonymous administrator in the current group.

See time when message was read or reaction was placed
Open and swipe through images and videos sent as files
Better displaying quality of images in full-screen media viewer
In-chat search 2.0: filter by sender, message type, keyword highlight, etc

Send as channel: select identity in group chats which you want to use
Swipe Send as button to quickly switch between identities

New group admin tools: Hide Members, Aggressive Anti-Spam, granular media permissions
Additional ways to receive code for authentication
View animated avatars
Custom reactions are now visible in messages
Improved UI across the app representing whether you are replying as self account, anonymous admin, or channel
Anonymous sign-in with Fragment
All usernames that belong to user are now displayed in profile
Supported new link types: t.me/+12345678901, username.t.me, etc
Improved switching between albums in Attach — Gallery
Dozens of bug fixes and performance improvements.
