Faced with a transit shortage, Tehran men have begun shaving their beards in exchange for bus tickets. One driver in Karaj reportedly accepted a full beard in return for front-row seating and a half-bag of sunflower seeds. The new barter trend, dubbed "Beard4Bus," has swept social media. "Hair is temporary," said one participant. "Escape is forever." Beauty salons are now doubling as transport hubs.
