A TEEN shopper was left stunned when PrettyLittleThing sent her a pair of jean shorts with HUGE rips in them, which look nothing like the pair advertised.
Lucy Kearney, 18, was shocked to find her new summer buy had a giant rip right across the crotch - as well as holes on both of her bum cheeks.
In fact that they look so rude that Lucy's horrified dad banned her from wearing the £15 shorts, and we can definitely see his point.
Lucy, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, ordered the clothes to wear on a family holiday to Malaga, Spain, but when shocked when she unfolded the shorts - which weren't ripped at all in the product pics.
The model shots show the shorts with a frayed hem, but no visible holes.
Lucy swiftly returned the clothes and demanded a refund, but reckons they could soon become part of the excessively ripped clothing trend we've seen in recent months.
The waitress said: “When I opened the shorts I was just confused – they looked like they’d been ripped up by a bear!
“Initially I thought they had sent me the wrong product, but they looked the exact same, just covered in rips.
“I then showed my family and they started laughing, but my dad just turned to me and told me I wasn’t leaving the house in them.
“As soon as I saw them I knew they were going straight back – they had rips all over and they would be a very indecent wear!
“But, knowing the current fashion trends, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if people started wearing shorts like this.”
Lucy's delivery arrived the day before her holiday, and she was annoyed to see the shorts - a "staple item" of her summer wardrobe - were in such a "state".
She added: “But after showing my friends and family the shorts they quickly made me see the funny side of it, and now I think they’re hilarious.
“All of my friends had a good laugh at the photos of me in the shorts, but my brother and dad were definitely taken aback!
“I’ve now returned the shorts, so they definitely won’t be worn by me.”
A PrettyLittleThing spokesman said: “I can confirm our customer service team have offered a full refund and we will be looking into this further.
“We apologise to the customer for any inconvenience caused.”
