The stunning 50-year-old actress performed a strip tease for her Instagram followers as she let her hair down following the Academy Awards
HALLE Berry made a lasting impression on her Instagram followers post-Oscars – by teasing them with a skinny dip in her pool.
The star had presented an award at the 89th Academy Awards , and after five hours of hob-nobbing with Hollywood’s elite, it appears she’s found the perfect way to cool down.
Halle, 50, won Best Actress for her role in Monster’s Ball at the illustrious awards ceremony back in 2001 – and returned to the stage to pass on the accolade to someone new.
Never one to be overshadowed, Halle stunned at the event with a backless Versace gown and her hair up in a tightly-curled afro for the glitzy ceremony.
She later wore a smaller, sequinned number to the Vanity Fair after-party, showing off her flawless figure and killer legs in the mini dress.
However, as soon as she got home, she didn’t hesitate filming herself unzipping the dress, dropping it to the floor, before diving feet first into her pool.
In a fitting theme to the video, she set the clip to Bruno Mars track Versace on the Floor and captioned it: “After a long award show a girl can’t wait to take it off!”
However, the star had a lot of love for her outfit, and revealed to E! Online: “I was choosing between five Versace dresses this year and this was the winner.”
Halle hadn’t appeared at the Oscar’s ceremony for four years – and boy, did she choose the right time to make her comeback.
The jam-packed event proved to be memorable in more ways than one, most notably when t he wrong winner for Best Picture was called out live on stage.
In the ruckus that followed, both casts took to the stage as La La Land’s team conceded and handed over their statuettes to the worthy winners.
Producer Jordan Horowitz informed the Moonlight team they should take the stage and said: "This is not a joke. Moonlight is best picture," before showing the camera and the audience the announcement card to prove it.
Beatty returned to the microphone to say: "I want to tell you what happened I opened the envelope and it said Emma Stone, La La Land and that is why I took such a long look at Faye and at you.
"I wasn't trying to be funny. This is Moonlight for best picture."
Naturally, a host of celebrities flocked to Twitter to support La La Land, Moonlight, and the announcers for the mistake – especially as it appeared Warren and Faye were given the wrong card to announce on stage.
Neil Patrick Harris expressed his sympathy to those who had their moment ruined and wore: I feel bad for all involved: Warren, Jimmy, Marc Platt and the incredible La La Land team. That said, congrats to Moonlight. It's brilliant.”
M Night Shyamalan, a director and writer famous for his plot twists including The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and most recently Split, tried to make light of the situation.
He announced: “ I wrote the ending of the academy awards 2017. @jimmykimmel we really got them!”

SINGER Dua Lipa is definitely not shy. But her new short “skirt” left little to the imagination, shocking paparazzi in New York.
SINGER Dua Lipa has challenged the conventional purpose of a skirt by wearing one that doesn’t actually do the job it’s meant to.
The 22-year-old British songstress was photographed on an outing in New York this week, wearing her standard eye-popping attire.
Her super-short ribbon skirt rode up as she greeted waiting paparazzi, giving the photographers an eye-full.
Lipa teamed the non-existent skirt with a slashed “heroes’ top, which boldly advertised the fact she wasn’t wearing a bra.
Some fans loved her look, taking to Twitter to tweet their approval.
Others likened her took to a character from The Incredibles cartoon.
It’s not the first time Dua Lipa has made headlines with her barely there outfits.
The singer made headlines earlier this week when she slammed United Airlines cabin crew for serving nuts around her highly allergic sister.
She kicked off at the airline on Twitter after a member of staff said that her sister would have to use her epi pen if there was a problem.
She tweeted: “I can’t believe I’m on a United flight right now and I told the steward that my sister was severely allergic to nuts and his reply was ‘we’re not a nut free airline’ so if she has an epi pen she might have to use that as we can’t not serve other passengers in your section nuts.
“Is it just me or is that kinds mental???”
The singer’s anger was met with a sympathetic response from members of the public, many of whom said that the crew should have made an announcement to the rest of the plane.
However, others said that the star’s sister shouldn’t “expect the world to stop so you can catch up”.
I can’t believe i’m on a @united flight rn and I told the steward that my sister was severly allergic to nuts and his reply was “we’re not a nut free airline so if she has an epi pen she might have to use that as we can’t not serve other passengers in your section nuts”
One Twitter user with the handle @texbecca3 said: “What you can’t do is walk into a situation and demand that everybody conform to you.
“You have to plan ahead if you have a severe allergy. If she’s not doing that, then she’s putting herself at risk.”
The airline has since apologised to Dua for the situation, tweeting: “We apologise for this situation. Passenger safety is our top priority.
“We can’t guarantee an allergen-free environment but we work to address allergy concerns on-board ie we don’t serve pre-packaged peanuts.
“We want to address your concerns so let’s connect when you land. We’ll contact our in-flight crew too.”
