Our daughter loves playing with these and they wer SO MUCH more cost efficient than buying each one in their individual bottle. She liked the extra surprise of opening the 2 that are in the extra packaging

We bought this for our daughter, who recently became obsessed with Shimmer and Shine. She fell absolutely in love with it as soon as she ripped off the wrapping paper. The set is cute, though I do wish it was a little more detailed/decorated. My husband assembled it in about 15 minutes and our daughter hasn't stopped playing with it since. Seriously, she spent HOURS playing with it that first day and has spent at least a little time with it every day since. The figures are VERY small and we do lose one or both of them periodically, which makes me wish there was a little storage case attached to the set. But, as long as we're vigilant about collecting the pieces when she's done playing, it's not a big deal. The only other warning I'd give for parents is to know that, since the figures are small, the pegs for them to stand on are also very small. This makes it a little difficult for my 3 year old to manipulate them sometimes, but she's getting better at it the more she plays. Older children will likely have no problem, though. Overall, we are very pleased!

I got this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas and it has been a huge hit. I also bought the pack of characters to go with it. What I really love about this play set is all the different places you can place the characters. If I were a child, when coming up with stories and playing with the different characters I would want to place them in different spots and a lot of play sets don’t have enough little notches to put the characters on so you have to balance them in places they aren’t meant to be in. This play set has little notches all over and plenty of little activities for the characters to do. The levitating magic carpet is adorable. I give this thing 5 stars and would give more if I could. Super awesome!

Went together very well worked great haven't had it long enough to see if it holds up to my rough & tough kids but has lots of areas to play and even store the little teenie genies. Got it for a much lower price then originally listed. It is very big and both my girls can play with it without fighting for space. It was extremely easy to assemble I literally did it in a few minutes and everything fit together nicely and was sturdy didn't feel like it was about to fall apart at any moment like some other products I have put together over the years. Also added bonus I didn't have to put on any of the stickers! I really like the teenie Genies have different places to sit all over it and there's a little hole on the bottom of them that fit into a little Peg where they would sit so if you wanted to put them on and stored on the Shelf like that they would stay nicely. Previously restoring all of them in a baggie.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my toddler, the toy itself was easily to put together but my thing is I wish it contained more characters than just two. The toy itself is pretty plain, you put shimmer or shine on a carpet and it magnetically slides down the toy. I don’t believe this toy is worth the price for what it does.

We love this play set castle! I enjoyed playing with my kids with this. It has places for all 28 of my daughter’s teenie genies. This was for her 5th birthday. The carpets are awesome and the castle has survived a road trip and being tossed in the closet my other kid. It’s a little heavy but very sturdy and keeps my daughter’s attention. Overall this is a lot of fun and we enjoy this purchase and will probably purchase another teenie genie item for Christmas!

At the $50 mark -- that price hits the typical "birthday party gift" ceiling for most people. My very first impressions were that this toy is made with flimsy plastics HOWEVER, sometimes build quality isnt everything. 1) my 8yr old can easily assemble this for my 4 year old. so parents with slightly older kids dont need to deal with assembly. It all fits easy for any older child to assemble for their younger siblings 2) plastics are indeed a bit flimsy as i mentioned but everything fits well, so it is actually fairly sturdy once built. 3) there are A TONNE of spots where the figurines can stand onto (with the small studs that stick into the figurines). Comes with Shimmer and Shine, and two magic carpets. This is the highlight of the toy: my child likes to make stories with shimmer and shine, in various little focus areas of the toy... there are a many studs where they can stand, a few swings and see-saws, and a pink door that hides a character behind it. for some reason my child likes this the most. The carpet ride slide system has two paths where a diverter selects which path to take but honestly this isn't the highlight of the toy for my child. 4) The carpet is supposed to float based on magnetic opposition on the carpet and track .... does it work? yes it does. you don't notice it when you're sliding the carpet down (because its too quick) but when you place it manually on the wide pink track, it clearly works. In the video I attached to this review , i slow-mo'd it on the pink magnetic part and you can clearly see it hovering. Kinda COOL if you ask me --- but my 4 yo didn't think much of it ha ha 5) We dont have any other shimmer and shine figurines but we have buckets of other plastic small figurine toys --- my 4yo likes to play with those on the set rather than with shimmer and shine ... nice way to find new life from existing toys. I think despite the build materials having somewhat thin plastics and the toy being a touch over-priced at $50 (where i knock off that single point), the toy itself is quite fun for kids that like to
