I enjoy every musical aspect that this equipment offers to conceptualize new music creations. Looking foward purchasing other modelos. SO cool!

As someone who works in a cubicle environment and loves the movie Office Space, this PO speaks to me personally! I own multiple PO's and this is probably my favorite in the non-newer 30's lineup (the new Tonic, KO, Speak are significantly better). This humble little PO is super quirky and the standard sounds are great. They don't get annoying after awhile like the Arcade gets. All Pocket Operators have a slight learning curve, but they all function basically the same. Watch some YT videos online if you need assistance. They're great for travel. One thing to note is that my batteries don't sit well in this one compared to my others, which is annoying. Overall though, I love this little guy and his little office beeps, chirps, and warbles!

The clicks and pops on this thing are the best. I like it particularly with the Arcade. You can make some great tunes with just those two alone.

Blend of samples and synthesis of 1980s computer hardware. It has an assortment of outdated pieces of office hardware, such as floppy disk drives and a matrix printer. PO-24 has also a solo function. Very nice!

This little noise maker is awesome. Some of the sounds are so close as to be practically indistinguishable, but for the price and the rest of the functionality, I can't complain too much. I do wish the parameter effects were a little deeper on some of the sounds. The punch-in effects are amazing, but there is no way that I have found to dial in a momentary effect, i.e., you can punch in an effect, but then you have to hold the FX button to clear it for subsequent play-throughs of the pattern; I would have rather saved that functionality for when you're in record mode, rather than having it implicitly record those effects. Oh well. I also wish you could live-record without having to hold the record button: it is impossible to record intricate patterns in one take with only one hand, because the other is holding record. One of my favorite features is being able to route signals through the device, complete with syncing signals. All in all, the value is far higher than the price, despite its admittedly minor shortcomings.

One of the most overlooked and underrated of the PO family. Most looking for bass synths, drum machines and lead Synths naturally. But don't pass this one over. The sound sample of floppy disk drives, mouse clicks, dot matrix printers, and other noise effects can be sequenced and programmed into some amazing rhythms and loops. If you have other PO systems you can think of this as the percussionist in the band to add some colours and glitches and effects. If you've not invested in a drum machine at all, this one will serve as a great drum machine and the unique sounds will force you to think outside of the typical drum sounds and add a whole different ambience to your music. Highly recommend it.

This thing is so freaking cool!! I have other models on my wishlist. The sounds are really quirky and amazing. It takes a bit to get used to the process/flow navigation, but it's so fun to add different effects to the loop or individual instruments. I need to learn more about how to save and edit loops. Fantastic that it is so thin and portable, takes 2 AAA batteries that fit nicely in the back. The speaker is a HUGE addition, even if it isn't great, but you can just pick it up and play. They really killed it with this idea.

I'm not very musicaly inclined, but this thing makes making beats simple. If you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a music program, get this, its way more then worth the price. Instructions are simple and easy to understand, it's very user freindly and easy to use. It doesn't take long to get the hang of it. You can edit sounds, it's super portable, and has a headphone jack so you can use it anywhere you want.

Teenage engineering-cool gadget

Nice little piece of kit: Pros: Easy to use, chain mode, high output plus effects. Cons: pocket calculator size and flimsy. Much higher output than the volca beats....

The most underwhelming of all the PO synths. Very niche without an enormous amount of tweakability. I would buy this only if you have at least a couple of the others.

A great device, but consider other PO's first

I love the PO devices although this isn't my favourite. Whilst it has crazy bass, I'm not convinced some of the sample as as useful as the PO-12 drum machine by comparison. It's an interesting device, but I would really listen to YouTube reviews / demos before buying.

Bonne machine

Excellente machine à la hauteur du savoir faire Teenage Engineering. Facilité d'utilisation, c'est un bon investissement compte tenu du prix et des possibilités offertes.
