Author bio : Peggy Paul Casella is a cookbook writer and editor and the creator of ThursdayNightPizza.com, a food blog centered on making weekly pizzas from scratch. In her editing/writing life, she wrangles hundreds—sometimes thousands—of recipes each month from chefs, writers, and publishers all over the country; writes a regular column on seasonal produce for a local Philadelphia magazine; and contributes sporadically to other publications. Peggy started Thursday Night Pizza in 2014 as a way to play with seasonal ingredients and test out all sorts of weird and wonderful flavor combinations, mad scientist style. She grew up watching the original Teenage Mutant Ninja cartoon and considers Michelangelo a true pizza visionary. Photographer/Illustrator bio : Albert Yee is a professional photographer and devoted lover of food, particularly pizza. Upon moving from New York to his adopted home of Philadelphia, he promptly went on a frenzied taste test of twenty or so pizza shops to find a new "home slice" to enjoy. When not eating a slice, he can be found photographing some part of the Mid-Atlantic region's food economy, whether it be on a farm, at a restaurant, or in a market. He now lives blocks away from the nation's first and only pizza museum and what many have come to consider the country's best pizza pie.

Rhis book is amazing cause unlike the cheap costly ones made from anime and games this one has good quality paper and its hard cover so it will last you the recipes dont look too complex but regardless makes a great gift for all

This is quality made with a lot of cool things to cook. Tried the Smores Pizza and it came out AWESOME. A great gift for any Turtles fan. Cowabunga!

Awesome cookbook not just for TMNT fans

Bought this book because I cook and a fan of ninja turtles. The recipes feel very feasible and work really well. Made a pizza from here and got someone who never eats crusts to actually eat the crust, i know that seems small but shows just how good it came out.

Absolutely worth it

Overnight dough was really nice airy and crisp. Most the basic pizza recipes are self explanatory. Sauce is basically what I’ve been doing for a long time but me and my 3 yr old daughters had a lot of fun making pizzas together and there are some other interesting treats we will probably try later. They got it as a Christmas gift and as an OG turtle fan I still like the original art style and they do too. I’m happy with it.
I have only tried one recipe in the book. I made basic quick crust- I made the no cook sauce but added a tablespoon dry oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, and a little sugar- and we made the first pizza recipe. It made two pizzas- one I put pepperoni, green pepper, and onion. Baked it for 10 minutes and I thought they might be okay but I had no idea it would be THIS good!!!! Even my pizza picky husband loved it!! Said it was one of the best pizzas he's had. Tastes to me like Pizza Hut and Your Pie had a baby. This book has sooooo many recipes that look INCREDIBLE! I'm happy alone just with the first most basic recipe. So excited to try the rest. If you're on the fence about this book- just don't. Just buy it. Hahaha. It's so good!!! The photos are great and the turtles are great and the little facts and pointers are great. It really breaks down the basics too. I can't say enough good about this book. :)

Fantastic, nostalgic pizza recipe book!
Bought this for my brother in law for Christmas, as they have an outdoor pizza oven. He loved it! The quality of the recipes and the book is brilliant, it’s so colourful and nostalgic. Recommend!
