OK, first off as a TMNT fan this game was worth the 30 bucks. Had it been a 50-60 dollar title then I might be a little peeved. I'm going to try to point out that although this game is far from flawless it does have some good things going on as well. The graphics and sound are pretty "meat and potatoes" stuff here, nothing real fancy and could have easily been done on the PS2 to be honest. However, the Turtles' models represent their animated Nickelodeon counterparts very well and the animations when they run and jump are perfect to how they do it in the show. The dialogue as expected gets a little repetitious after about the first 15 minutes and even I got sick of hearing Mikey yell "I love breaking stuff!!" every single time I cracked open a inanimate object but other times I found myself chuckling at some of the old school references when the turtles would banter with other in between gameplay. The volume clipping issue during certain cut scenes is a bit unbearable and is really the worst gripe I have about this game. This is a simple issue that should have been resolved before the games release, budget title or not. The actual gameplay is surprisingly smooth as there are no freezing or bug like issues that seem to have plagued the Online TMNT game "Out Of The Shadows" released a few months ago. The turtles move fluidly and its pretty much just flailing away at one button and beating up various baddies. When an enemy gets beaten down bad enough you have the option to throw him into the screen which is a nice throwback to the Turtles In Time game of the early 90's. All 4 turtles are there the whole time (even with 1 player) and you can change on the fly which is kind of a cool feature taken from Konami's 2005 effort "TMNT 3: Mutant Nightmare." The story mode campaign is nearly identical to "Mutant Nightmare" where you see a map of 15 or so levels and you can go back and play them again if you miss an object or want to increase your score to upgrade the Turtles. The more points and secret ooze canisters you collect the more attacks you can buy for each one of the turtles thus making their one button combos a little more interesting. If you can get past its overall simplicity its actually a fun game especially when the multiplayer factor is added in. At the end of the day its not the best TMNT game but its by far not the worst.

Ah this game brings back memories. A fairly straightfoward side scrolling beatemup. It harkens back to the original 4 player arcade cabinet and the snes turtles in time. The new Nickelodean take on the turtles has been my son's favorite cartoon. This is faithful crossover into gaming with snippets of the original voice actors. The controls felt tight for wii and the graphics felt high end on the wii. You could see the differences in the turtles shades and patterns. The ability to build the characters was a plus for me adding a little depth. My 6yr old son and played for about 4 days and beat it though this very broken up game play. Average players should be through this in 8 hours. My son basicallly got throug it by button mashing. I worked with combos and throws. We had a great time. It was a lot easier for him than the games on the gamecube and we tried the download game on xbox 360. The game on the 360 says it is nickelodeons turtles but looks nothing like them.

Fun game, takes a minute to get the movements down while fighting. My son and I enjoy playing it together. I recommend playing with someone instead of against the game.

I bought the game for my 5 yrs son who is a big fan of Ninja Turtles, he was very excited at the beginning but when he started playing he felt disappointed when he failed to pass level 2, and never played it again since then... I guess this is not a problem of the game it is my son's issue :). It would have been better if they allow the player to return to the same point in the game when he loses instead of starting the level from the beginning. But overall the game is good for small kids, the graphics are good but not amazing. I got what I expected anyway.

The game arrived terribly scratched.

*The DLC (Downloadable Content), Trials/Subscriptions may or may not be included and are not guaranteed to work* Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a new, original video game developed by Magic Pockets, starring the butt-kicking, pizza-loving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael. Set in the same universe as Nickelodeon's popular animated series, this side-scrolling action-brawler will bridge the gap between the show's first and second seasons, putting Turtle Power into fans' hands. True to classic TMNT-style gameplay and atmosphere, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an energetic, blazing beat 'em up with four-person, local, drop-in/drop-out co-op and features character upgrades, secondary items and multiple gameplay modes. It offers an authentic Turtles storyline, encompassing franchise-favorite characters and locations from the animated series, unfolding through animated cut scenes and in-game events.
