It is what it is. It's a mini synth. Don't expect to be leading the dance floor with this thing, but jam at home, get into music. Explore sounds you never thought of. That's what this does. If you can make more w/ it then super. You can do ALOT with it, so explore. The sounds are great. Battery-powered, yet not bad AT ALL. You can do a ton of great sounds w/ it. Lotta youtube tutorials so you cant go wrong. Also you DONT really need 'em, its super easy to use.

I was pretty intimidated watching some people on youtube fly through this device feeling like I could never get to that level. However, after an hour or so you will get pretty comfortable navigating a rather semi-intuitive device that will let you make all sorts of cool beats. Anything from simple to very, very complex songs can be made on this if you are able to do some audio manipulation on an external device before recording into the PO. Highly recommend as my first PO it is a BLAST to play with! I would also highly recommend a case...

The PO-33 KO is quite fun to use. Once the TE approach to Beat making is understood, this device provides a quick, easy way to sample, compose, and mangle your music in interesting ways. I carry it around to sample found sounds and environments that are brought back for processing in a DAW or used in a Digitakt for even more expressive arrangements. Step automation makes this device sparkle. Purchase a case if you’ll be taking it with you as the open design, while looking cool, offers little protection to the device. I carried mine in a messenger bag without a case and the batteries were drained when the device wedged between a small midi controller and some books in the bag. Normal use battery life is good. I’d recommend this to those wanting a quick sketch pad for ideas that can be easily modified on the fly. Sound quality is better than you’d think from a device this small. This package came with a 3.5mm cable extender and the batteries that sadly were drained in the messenger bag. Five stars.

Best Dawless set up for the price by far. You can get endless hours of enjoyment out of this little guy! Very versatile and a must own for any musician!!

This little guy is awesome. This is my first pocket operator and it took me a little bit to figure out how to use it. But a few YouTube videos later and I was off to the races. I’m going to look into other models now that I know how easy it is to get into. My background is in recording and using synth’s through vst’s. This was a nice step into hardware from virtual synths. My only concern are how well the jacks well ware. But I guess only time will tell

Its too small to use comfortably...was not impressed better off saving for an sp 404 or literally any other sampler .

This little guy has totally reinvigorated my love for making music. It is so much beyond its toy like appearance. Go and spend some time watching some PO-33 videos on YouTube to get an idea of what you cana make on here. I have yet to reach the limits of this little guy - my imagination is my only limit so far!

This little device is great, it is a fantastic way to explore music without spending too much on expensive equipment. My only complaint I have, I never recieved the three auxiliary cables that were shown in the images. That's a minor detail that really does not matter to me! Love it!
