PROVIDES A CUSTOM LCD SCREEN - Teenage Engineering designed the PO-137 with new Rick and Morty visuals you can see within the animated LCD.
ACCOMMODATES 120 SECONDS OF SAMPLING - PO-137 has a built-in microphone wherein you can record 120-seconds of samples directly into the vocal synth.
NOTIFIES YOU OF THE TIME - The vocal synth/sampler also comes with a built-in alarm clock, which you can be set using A & B Knobs. When the alarm goes off, a random pattern plays until you press the Play button.
CREATE NEW BEATS WITH POCKET OPERATOR - You get 16 built-in sounds in the PO-137. You also get to add any of the 16 effects on top of sound you've recorded.

Worked as intended, until I needed to do a factory reset. The unit just died after that. All my other PO's are still working beautifully, and I'm guessing this was just back luck. Returned it, but never got my refund. EDIT: Refund was processed, and received. EDIT 2: I returned the original purchase with the open package, and manuals. Bought it again, and got the “new one” with an open package (very worn out) and manuals. Chances are good that what I’ve got the second time around is the refurbished original unit I’ve returned.
This is exactly what I wanted/expected. It's simple enough that I don't feel lost as I'm learning how to use it, but it has enough going on that people can do interesting things with it (cf. YouTube). And of course, Justin Roiland is hilarious. In addition to the vocals, you get a bunch of sound effects. Some are more normal, e.g. kick/snare/hat, and others are from the show, e.g. the "pop" sound from the "human music" Jerry listens to in the simulation episode. I recommend the silicone case.
The teenage Enginnering pocket operator is great fun. The pre-recorded sounds are awesome for all Rick and Morty fans, but the real fun starts when you use your own sounds. The quality of the pocket operator is great, and the sound is amazing.
Amazing little sampler, of course, relatively speaking. The quality is higher than what I would expect for the price. Of course, it does come preloaded with a bunch of R&M samples, which you can overwrite.
$60 noise maker for kids. If that’s what you want. It’s called an old IPhone, buy one of those instead.
Fun to play with . You can generate pretty cool music . For a reasonable price .
I was so excited to buy this for my brother's birthday and this is how it came in... It's a collectable item so the box matters quite a bit! There are huge sticker on it, it looked used and damaged, so I had to return it and order one directly on T.E.'s website.

This was not a new item
This was a birthday present, I’ve only given it to my parter today - we need to get batteries so I’m not sure yet if it works how but he was very happy with the gift. However, it’s definitely NOT new, someone was able to half open the packet, take it out then put it back in again (we originally thought the packet may be damaged in transit but discovered after opening it fully that some of the buttons have finger marks on them) He doesn’t mind as long as it works - which we’ll find out later. But as it was advertised as new I’m a bit disappointed.

Mann gönnt sich ja sonst nichts
Der Teenage Engineering PO-137 Pocket Operator, ist die Sonderedition des PO-35, allerdings sind hier die Charaktere Rick and Morty abgelegt. Das Spielen mit diesem kleinen Synth macht Spaß, durch den Batteriebetrieb ist eine große Unabhängigkeit gegeben, besonders wenn eigene Samples aufgenommen werden sollen. Mit knapp 100 € ist der Spaß nicht billig, vor allem Verglichen mit Geräten die bedeutend mehr können. Trotzdem gebe ich hier die volle Punktzahl und würde ihn mir wieder kaufen
Faulty knob makes this unit less than fun to use. Cool little item, but know that quality if knobs is not the best.

Produit reçus aussi tôt déballer j'ai remarquer que les boutons étaient sales......le fini chromée des touches a été ternis et est rouiller ... ECE qu'il serai possible d'avoir une compensation ? Je viens de m'apercevoir que le microphone pour enregistrer ne fonctionne pas :(
