A 17-year-old Georgia boy has been charged with a felony for allegedly secretly recording a video of two other teen students in the middle of sex in a school bathroom last week, PEOPLE confirms.

Kyle Steven Bahner faces a count of eavesdropping-surveillance for allegedly filming a male and female student — 16 and 15, respectively — while the latter two were engaged in a consensual sex act in a closed boy's bathroom stall at their Atlanta-area high school on May 2, according to an arrest warrant obtained by PEOPLE.

Bahner allegedly reached over the bathroom stall and began to record the pair from above, the warrant states. He then shared the video with his friends and soon it spread throughout the school via social media and platforms, authorities claim.

Police say the video was recorded without the pair's knowledge and was reported the following day by an assistant principal at Harrison High in Kennesaw. All three teens are students there.

"I took a video of a guy and a girl in a stall because I don't see how they should let that happen and I was showing it to my friends," Bahner allegedly told school administrators during their investigation, the warrant states.

He was arrested on Thursday after the school's assistant principal reported the video to school district police. He was bailed out about an hour after his arrest, records show.

Under state law, Bahner is considered an adult for the purposes of criminal prosecution because he is at least 17 years old.

"This incident has been thoroughly investigated by school administrators and school district police. In addition to the criminal charge, appropriate action has been taken in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct," the school district said in a statement to PEOPLE.

A district spokesman said he was unable to answer further questions.

It is unclear whether Bahner has an attorney who could comment on his behalf or if he has pleaded to his charge. He could not be reached directly on Wednesday.

But two young lads, who live near the store, saw “something going on” and filmed on their mobile phones as the woman climbs on the desk.
It’s understood to have happened at a Tesco shop in East Anglia on Saturday evening.
The lads can be hard laughing and joking while they film through the window while the male employee performs a sex act on his female colleague.
One says: “This is at Tesco’s, look what’s going on.”
Later they can be heard saying: “She likes that. She’s going for a pay rise. F****** hell.”
The video spread quickly after it was shared on WhatsApp .

A source said: “Two youngsters saw something was going on inside the offices and decided to have a look.
“They reacted as you’d expect teenagers to after seeing something like that.
Another source said: “I was sent the video on a WhatsApp group and couldn’t believe it when I opened it up.
“It’s not a very classy thing to do at your place of work is it?
“Although it’s fair to say the young lady looked like she was having a whale of a time.
“She’ll no doubt be regretting it now they’ve been caught out.”
The video spread quickly after it was shared on WhatsApp.
A source said the pair have now “left” the firm.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “We are taking this issue very seriously and have launched an immediate investigation. ”

An unidentified teenage boy is sought after two women were sexually assaulted within 24 hours in the same Scarborough neighbourhood last week.
Toronto Police say the first incident occurred along the Gatineau Hydro Corridor Trail just west of Birchmount Rd. – north of Eglinton Ave. E. – shortly before 6 p.m.

“A woman was running eastbound on Gatineau Hydro Corridor Trail between Crockford Blvd. and Birchmount Rd. (when) an unknown teenage boy blocked her way with his bike,” Det.-Const. Brett Niezen said in a statement released Saturday.
“The teenage boy then sexually assaulted the woman,” he said.
Less than 24 hours later, around 5 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a second a sexual assault along the same trail – this time just east of Birchmount Rd.
“A woman was riding a bicycle on Gatineau Hydro Corridor Trail between Birchmount Rd. and Kennedy Rd.,” Niezen said. “A teenage boy followed and stopped the woman, asking to show her an ‘11 fingers Tik Tok trick.’”
“The boy then sexually assaulted the woman,” he added.
The boy is described as 13-15 years old, about 5-foot-5, with a thin build and short brown hair. In both cases, he was wearing a red T-shirt, black shorts and a distinctive brown camoflauge-like design backpack, and he was riding a dark-coloured mountain bike.

A Florida pastor was arrested this week for allegedly having sex with two teen girls he met through his church and kung fu dojo, according to a police report.
Roberson Douge, 42, was booked into Brevard County jail Thursday after the alleged victims contacted police this week and accused him of predatory sexual behavior.
Douge serves as a pastor at Apostolic Church of Christ, and also owns the Tiger Claw Kung Fu Academy in Palm Bay, according to police papers.
Cops said one of the girls told her friend she was troubled by her relations with Douge, prompting the other to recount a similar experience with him.
Neither victim has been named because they are both under 18, but one victim told investigators she first met Douge after her family moved to Palm Bay and joined his church in 2019.
The teen, whose age was not specified, told police she often spent time with Douge’s family and he would engage in sexual activity with her while driving her back to home.
The second victim said she volunteered at his martial arts studio and they had relations in various places inside the location.
One of the teens told police that she confided to her boyfriend about the relationship and that he urged her to contact police.
Both teens eventually called cops, who set up a controlled call with Douge between week with one of them.
The pastor begged the girl not to tell anyone about his misconduct and apologized repeatedly.
Douge now faces 10 counts each of sexual battery on a victim between the ages of 12 and 16 and sexual battery on a victim between the ages of 16 and 17 by an offender older than 24.
