Katie Holmes put her foot in someone else’s mouth in her latest film role.


The 39-year-old actress plays a dental assistant named Darlene with a fondness for having her feet licked in the new comedy Dear Dictator. And her boss Dr. Charles Seaver, played by Seth Green , is a man with a foot fetish.


In a clip from the film, Dr. Charles can be seen sucking on Darlene’s toes — telling her that his wife, “won’t let me do this for her. She thinks it’s strange.”


“She’s strange!” Darlene says, dressed in yellow scrubs and sprawled on the dental bench before taking out her phone to film the scene.

Of course, that’s just some of the silliness fans can expect in Dear Dictator.


The film, directed by Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse, tells the story of a British-Caribbean dictator (Michael Caine) who flees his island nation for refuge in America with his pen pal, Darlene’s daughter Tatiana (Odeya Rush). There, he teaches Tatiana how to start her own revolution in high school and overthrow the “mean girls” plaguing the hallways.


Dear Dictator , which also stars Jason Biggs, is in theaters and on video on demand now.

In the spot for "BB Talk," from her collaboration with The Flaming Lips , "Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz," the singer dons a baby outfit, sucks her toes and rolls around with a giant bottle. The aesthetic feels like an extension of her Instagram , which, if you haven't checked it out, do.

Compromising photographs of Sarah Ferguson, who was affectionately known as Fergie, appeared on the front pages of newspapers just months after she separated from Prince Andrew, causing scandal for the royal family
Sarah Ferguson stood alongside her former in-laws as her daughter Princess Beatrice married the love of her life.
We're sure it was all smiles and joy at Beu and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's special day in Windsor - but it hasn't always been that way.
Fergie caused huge upset with the royal family when she was photographed having her toes sucked while on holiday just months after her separation from Prince Andrew.
The scandal that surrounded the photos, which were printed in the Daily Mirror in 1992, rocked The Firm and marked the beginning of a very difficult relationship between Fergie and her in-laws.
The Duke and Duchess of York tied the knot in 1986 - but just six years later their marriage ended in scandal.
They told the world they planned to separate in March 1992, and five months later compromising photographs of Sarah appeared on the front pages.
The intimate pictures, shot as the couple lazed by the pool, showed her 'financial advisor' Texan millionaire John Bryan kissing and sucking the Duchess' toes and the arch of her foot.
They also showed the couple kissing and embracing, and frolicking in the pool.
In one image, two-year-old Princess Eugenie watched on as Mr Bryan kissed her mother on the lips.
Never before had a Royal been seen in this light.
On the morning the photographs were published, Sarah Ferguson was staying at Balmoral with the rest of the royal family.
Royal writer Richard Kay claimed in the Daily Mail that he received a message via pager from Princess Diana the night before the photos hit the newspaper stands.
Diana's message was simple: "The redhead's in trouble."
He then got a call from John Bryan asking if he could obtain an early copy of the Mirror so he could see what was being said.
Kay obliged, rushing to Bryan's flat just as he received a call from a concerned Sarah Ferguson.
"Bryan promised her everything would be fine, but I could see in his face that he didn’t really believe it," Kay wrote.
"In a few short hours, those pictures were going to be on the breakfast room sideboard in the Queen’s castle. They would also be winging around the world to be pored over by millions."
But there was one thing in particular that annoyed Bryan as he surveyed the media coverage.
According to Kay, he said: "I wasn’t sucking her toes, I was kissing them!"
Fergie hastily left the Scottish holiday home in the morning and drove the 50 miles to Aberdeen airport with her children and nanny.
But when she eventually arrived at her Surrey house, there was more embarrassment for the Duchess as nobody was there to open the gates.
Instead of shooting past the reporters and photographers lining up outside, she was forced to sit while a detective got out of the car to unlock the barrier.
After four years of separation, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew officially announced their decision to divorce in May 1996.
She has retained her title 'Duchess of York' but ceased being a Royal Highness.
Should Sarah marry again, she will also lose her Duchess title.
Years after their split, Fergie claimed the marriage was troubled due to her husband's prolonged periods away from home.
She explained: "What I got was not the man, I got the palace and didn't get him."
Sarah still attends functions with daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and is occasionally invited to stay at Balmoral as a guest of the Queen.
Over the years there have been several reports that the Duke and Duchess of York might yet remarry.
While Andrew appears to have forgiven Sarah, the same isn't always said for his parents.
Prince Philip in particular was reportedly furious, and many experts believe he still hasn't forgiven her .
Speaking on This Morning during an interview about Beatrice's wedding, the Telegraph's Camilla Tominey said: "The Queen has always given Sarah her time, and invited her to Balmoral with the girls every year because she thinks that Sarah has done a very good job of bringing them up.
"They're both lovely girls and she loves her granddaughters.
"Prince Philip has never really forgiven Fergie for some of the unfortunate headlines of the past.
"It used to be the case that when the Queen invited Fergie and the girls up to Balmoral, he would disappear and go to the Isle of Wight because he didn't want to be in the same place as her.
"That's slightly melted in that he was at both Eugenie and Beatrice's wedding."

But Katie Holmes is certainly broadening her range, starring in a bizarre scene for her new big screen comedy Dear Dictator.
Photos from the movie, which is released in cinemas this week, show Katie in ecstasy as she has her toes sucked by Austin Powers star Seth Green.

Katie stars as vacuous single mother Darlene in the comedy, whose rebellious daughter Tatiana (Odeya Rush) writes a foreign dictator (Michael Caine) for a homework assignment. 
The dictator gets the letter while getting overthrown by his country and he ends up on her door step in America. The talented cast also includes American Pie star Jason Biggs. 
While her daughter is befriending a dictator, Katie's character is too busy having an affair with her married dentist boss Dr Charles Seaver to notice.

Dressed in her yellow nurse uniform, the glam looking actress leans back in delight before breaking out her sparkly phone to snap her boss.  
The Dawson's Creek actress, who has an 11-year-old daughter called Suri, has a number of big screen projects on the horizon.

Katie will play an ex-Marine-turned-doorman in The Doorman, currently in pre production, for which she's undergoing an intense fitness regime.
'It's for a role. I'm getting ready to play a woman in a movie called The Doorman. She's an ex-Marine and she's a warrior. I'm excited. I'm training. I'm sore,' she told People recently.  
Next year, she'll appear in the much-anticipated Ocean's Eight, which features an all-star, female cast.
