FORT MYERS, Fla. – Students and parents are in shock after a group of teenagers had sex in a high school bathroom in Fort Myers, Florida, and then posted a video of the act on social media.
A teenage girl had sex with as many as two dozen boys after school Tuesday afternoon at South Fort Myers High School, according to a Lee County Sheriff's Office incident report.
Deputies said 25 males were spotted via a hallway camera entering the restroom while the female was inside, the News-Press reported .
"A bunch of football players went into a room with a girl and had sex with her, and a bunch of the football players were suspended," student Alex Bailey told WBBH . "So we might not have a football team this year."
"The fact that that could've happened is just crazy in my mind," another student said.
Parent Megan Roldan said the incident proves some parents need to be more aware of what their children are getting up to when school ends.
"And apparently, obviously the parents need to be talking to their kids more,” Roldan told WINK . “And being aware of what their children are doing after school."
Even though the incident happened after hours, some students are wondering where the administration was when all of this was going on.
"I just don't see how that could've happened because there is so much security in there,” student Erin Bollinger said. “Like the teachers are really on top of all of that."
Students said the entire thing was filmed and then posted on social media.
"There's girls that saw the video once and it hurt, it is just so disturbing to them," student Casey Winn said.
Some parents question how this could have happened at the school.
"Well, they should be walking around the halls and things like that and know where the kids are,” Roldan said.
But others said they trust the school district to handle the situation
"I trust them to take care of it,” one woman said. “I really do think that that is their job and they will take care of it."
The sheriff's office said the girl's mother is not planning to press charges.
A school district official said the students involved have been disciplined.

A 15-year-old high school girl has allegedly been caught on camera having sex with multiple boys in a girls' bathroom on campus.
At least one student has been disciplined for 'inappropriate activity' after police reports suggested 25 boys were seen going in and out of the bathroom at South Fort Myers High School in Fort Myers, Florida.
The girl reportedly told the school's principal she 'had sex with a number of the boys', while fellow students claimed the group 'locked themselves' in and filmed the acts on camera.
Footage of the incident was sent round school on Snapchat, according to Fox4now .

Deputies have confiscated a cellphone amid unconfirmed reports of the recording.
Police reports stated one girl was inside the bathroom and 25 boys were seen going in and out of the bathroom, according to NBC-2 News .
Student Petislin Cadeau, 18, told Fox 4, that he heard some of the football team was involved.
'I heard a video was around but I never really saw it or anything. It just like circulated around,' Cadeau said.

Another student, Alex Bailey, added: 'A bunch of football players went into a room with a girl and had sex with her, and a bunch of the football players were suspended.'
A spokesperson for the Lee County School District said a student - or students - were disciplined in line with the student code of conduct, after 'inappropriate activity' occurred in a girls' bathroom on campus on Tuesday. It happened out of school hours on Wednesday morning.

Students from the Florida school said that the incident was recorded and circulated on Snapchat
Lisa Purnell said: 'I've just heard that they were all filming it and I just think it's really wrong. That shouldn't have happened. They locked themselves into the bathroom.'
Kevin Ware, a parent, urged that a 'thorough investigation' needed to be carried out.
He said: 'Where were the teachers? Just a thorough investigation needs to be done. It's terrible. I feel for the little girl, I feel for her parents. It's just sad.'
While another parent, Eric Struble, who has two 15-year-old girls at the school described the incident saying: 'Shock. Disbelief. Concern. Sad.'
He added: 'It's our job to protect our children and to teach them right from wrong.'

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Lee County deputies said a 15-year-old South Fort Myers High School girl had sex with multiple male students in the bathroom of the school.
"Shock. Disbelief. Concern. Sad," Eric Struble said. He's a parent to two 15-year-old girls.
The incident report said the girl admitted to having sex with multiple male students in the bathroom, and 25 male students were identified going inside the bathroom during the timeframe the girl was inside.
Students said it happened in the main boys bathroom on the second floor.
"Like, how did it happen? Like, where was everybody at?" 18-year-old SFMHS student Petislin Cadeau said.
He said he heard some of the football team was involved, and the incident was caught on camera.
"I heard a video was around but I never really saw it or anything. It just like circulated around," Cadeau said.
Another student said it was recorded and sent around school on Snapchat. The app allows you to record a ten second video of whatever you please, and once you choose who you want to send it to, they can only open it once and it's supposed to disappear. The student said some of the videos were saved.
"It's our job to protect our children and to teach them right from wrong," Struble said.
The incident happened after school hours, but Struble said parents should have still been told.
"Somebody should have been notified or been aware of what was going on, I believe," he said.
"You would think there would be more supervision basically to not allow it to happen," Cadeau said.
A spokeswoman with the school district says no one was arrested and no one is pressing charges.
She also said the school is handling discipline internally.
Fort Myers-based WFTX asked about security procedures after school hours and how this incident could have occurred on school property, but it was after hours and we have not heard back yet.
