A teen is accused of using 'revenge porn' to blackmail another teen into having sex with his three cousins.
Demario Hunter, 18, of Katy, Texas, appeared in court Monday to answer charges of 'unlawful disclosure of intimate visual material,' otherwise known as the revenge porn law. He faces up to a year in prison.
Hunter is accused of having sex with his ex-girlfriend, who is 19, and secretly videotaping it.
He then allegedly threatened to send the video to the teen's 13-year-old sister unless his ex had sex with his three 15-year-old friends, who have been identified as cousins by KTRK.
Police in Texas did not clarify if the men were related to Hunter.
The unidentified girl reportedly had sex with the teens, but when Hunter again allegedly tried to extort her into having sex with a fourth teen, also identified as a cousin, she balked and called police.
His lawyer, Equator Turner, says it was all just empty threats.
'He's just charged with a threat right now, a threat to send something that he didn't send,' she said.

She claims the suspect didn't have cell phone service, so sending a video would have been impossible, though she didn't acknowledge the possibility of downloading a video to computer.
'It was only a poker threat,' she said. 'He didn't have the ability or the means to send off the threat. So, it was just saying that I would do it, but I don't have the ability to.'
