You can file this under TMI! Everyone knows about the odd-couple friendship between Miley Cyrus and Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne, but turns out their friendship is even more bizarre than anyone suspected! How bizarre? Well, how about peeing selfies bizarre? Yep, really.
When news broke that Miley Cyrus and Wayne Coyne had struck up a close friendship and were best buddies, minds boggled. Because, let’s face it, a then-20-year-old former Disney star and the middle aged lead singer of The Flaming Lips make for a strange BFF combo, to say the least. But, turns out, their friendship is even more out-there than anyone ever imagined.
The 55-year-old opened up about his relationship with 24-year-old Miley in a new interview with British newspaper The Guardian — and, well, it’s not for the faint of heart! In addition to peeing selfies, the rocker spills on the unbelievable amount of texts he and Miley send to each other daily, as well as dishing on the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s drug habits. Oh my!
“[Since first making contact on Twitter], we’ve texted each other every day,” Wayne tells The Guardian . “I’ll say: ‘What are you doing?’ and she’ll send me pictures of herself peeing. Sometimes it’s 1,000 times a day, sometimes it’s a couple of times a day, but we’re in each other’s lives.” We’re going to go out on a limb here and guess he’s not referring to the peeing selfies when he says 1,000 times a day — because, well, that would hint at poor Miley suffering from some very extreme bladder issues.
Wayne goes on to talk about how Miley has introduced him to a bunch of her hip young friends over the course of their friendship, including rapper A$AP Rocky — before revealing her penchant for hallucinogenics. Hmm….anyone shocked?!! “[A$AP Rocky] just got a new set of gold teeth, braces things, and he was talking about taking acid,” Wayne tells The Guardian .
“In between, Miley was whispering: ‘He’s never really taken acid. He’s just saying that because he wants to write music about taking acid.’ He would keep talking and she would go: ‘He doesn’t know anything about acid.’ She’d know. Cyrus has done acid plenty.” Oh boy, look away Billy Ray ! Meanwhile, the unlikely BFFs continue to make sweet sweet music together. Miley is featured on the Flaming Lips’ new song, “We Are Family” which is off of their upcoming album, OCZY MLODY, out Jan 13.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think about Miley and Wayne’s bizarre friendship — and her sending him peeing selfies? Let us know in the comments!

HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — The Hernando School District has removed bathroom doors from a local high school's restrooms to stop what they call ‘misbehaviors,’ on campus.
A spokesperson for the school district told ABC Action News that they removed the main door to the restrooms at Frank W. Springstead High School because of misbehaviors taking place there.
Students who attend the school told us they believe the doors were removed because of vaping on campus. The district tells us along with vaping, there are concerns of fighting and bullying inside the bathrooms.
“Each stall has a door, but the hand washing takes place in the more open space,” a district official wrote.
That means anyone can see inside the open spaces.
However, one of the boy’s restrooms had what the district calls a “unique design” and the boys were not shielded from view while using the urinals.
A photo posted to social media by a student showed a student in clear view after the door was removed.
We were told the senior who took the photo staged himself using the urinal to show how easy it is to view the boys bathroom.
“It showed if I was actually going to the bathroom how much you could see and by the picture you could see, if I was, it's pretty bad,” said the student.
In an email, a spokesperson wrote, “they (school staff) have remedied the situation. And the door has been reinstalled.”
“I just got so angry and upset and worried about what’s next, what will they do next to invade privacy of students,” said Carol Symes the grandmother of that senior student.
The school district could not give us a number on how many bathrooms had doors removed, but they said the incident is isolated to Frank W. Springstead High School.
It is unclear if or when doors may be put back on.

”I’m actually peeing in that photo, she has no idea. No clue,“ actress tells late-night host James Corden
That Jennifer Lawrence — she’s quite the whiz kid.
“The Hunger Games” star appeared on CBS’ “The Late Late Show With James Corden” on Tuesday and shared a heartwarming family anecdote — about how she shot a photo with her mother while urinating.
The photo depicts Lawrence’s mother lounging with a wine glass in her hand, while her daughter smiles and squats behind her in a seemingly innocent pose.
“I’m actually peeing in that photo, she has no idea. No clue,” Lawrence shared.
“I went to pee, and then my friend got the phone because she knew I was peeing, and then we both decided to leave my mom out of it,” Lawrence continued.
Informed by host Corden that she has “a very relaxed peeing face,” Lawrence noted, “Yeah, I know how to do it. I’ve done it a lot.”
Watch Lawrence go with the flow in the video.
Sadly, numerous female celebrities have been attacked by hackers, who stole personal information as well as sexually explicit photos from their phones and computers.
Jones is the latest victim of nude photo hackers, with her personal website being vandalized and several explicit photos posted before the site was taken down
The Department of Homeland Security has opened an investigation into the hack, which many believe was perpetrated by a fan of former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos , who was banned from Twitter after his "targeted abuse" of the comedian.
"The Avengers" star has been the victim of hackers multiple times. Nude photos of the actress were released online in 2011 and again in the massive 2014 hack .
The perpetrator in the 2011 incident was eventually sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Lawrence was among the most high-profile victims of the 2014 hack. She came out strongly against those who viewed the pictures, saying doing so was "a sex crime."
"The Big Bang Theory" star was also caught up in the 2014 hack, and took it in stride with a cheeky Instagram post .
The 2014 hack immediately drew the attention of the FBI, which began investigating the event that claimed over 100 victims, most of them celebrities.
Pennsylvania resident Ryan Collins was eventually captured and charged with illegally accessing the Google and Apple accounts of numerous celebrities, though their identities weren't made public.
Collins eventually pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorized access to a protected computer to obtain information, receiving an 18-month prison sentence in the plea deal.
Collins was not the only one charged in the hack. Edward Majerczyk of Chicago was also arrested in connection with the data breach.
Majerczyk faced the same charge as Collins: one count of unauthorized access to a protected computer.
Majerczyk pleaded guilty to the charge in July 2016. The maximum sentence for the charge of unauthorized access to a protected computer is five years.
In January 2017, Majerczyk received a sentence of nine months in jail as part of a plea deal. Majerczyk also was ordered to pay $5,700 in restitution for counseling services for one unnamed celebrity because of the harm caused by the hack.
WWE Divas star Paige stated on Twitter that "personal and private" photos of her had been stolen and leaked online in March 2017. The leak is possibly part of a reportedly larger hack affecting several celebrity women. Like other victims of the apparent larger leak, photos of Paige, whose real name is Saraya-Jade Bevis, appeared on the website Celebrity Jihad.
Some of the most infamous breaches of sensitive celebrity data — and what happened to the perpetrators

The actress will preside over the festival’s main competition
Julianne Moore will head up the International Jury of Competition this year at the 79th Venice International Film Festival.
Moore was put up for consideration by the festival’s director, Alberto Barbera, and will be joined by six other names in film. Also on the jury will be Argentinian director, screenwriter and producer Mariano Cohn; Leonardo Di Costanzo, a director and screenwriter from Italy; Audrey Diwan, a French director and last year’s Golden Lion winner; Iranian actress Leila Hatami; Kazuo Ishiguro (Japan-Great Britain) author and screenwriter and Spain’s Rodrigo Sorogoyen, a director, screenwriter and producer.
Led by Moore, the jury will award the Golden Lion for Best Film, as well as the festival’s other awards, including the Silver Lion, the Silver Lion for Best Director, Coppa Volpi for Best Actress, Coppa Volpi for Best Actor, Special Jury Prize, Award for Best Screenplay and the “Marcello Mastroianni” Award for Best New Young Actor or Actress.
Moore herself won the Coppa Volpi back in 2002, for her performance in “Far From Heaven,” becoming the first U.S. actress to do so.
The Venice Film Festival will take place from August 31 – September 10 this year, with the full lineup being announced on July 26.
Starz accuses MGM of violating an exclusivity agreement
Starz Entertainment’s breach of contract lawsuit against MGM will go forward, the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Thursday.
In the suit, which was filed 2020 , Starz accused MGM of breaching its exclusivity agreement when it allowed its library of film and TV shows to run on rival platforms. According to Starz, an employee noticed that “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” a movie licensed by MGM to Starz, was also streaming on Amazon Prime despite being exclusive to Starz.
Starz asserts that MGM admitted to a breach that resulted in more than 200 films and TV shows running on other platforms. Some of those films were licensed on Epix, which is owned by MGM. According to the original lawsuit, Starz paid MGM about $70 million under two agreements in 2013 and 2015, which allowed the network to license 585 movies and 176 TV shows.
MGM had attempted to have the lawsuit dismissed on grounds that Starz filed the complaint too late, but a lower district court shut that down. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld that ruling.
“The district court correctly applied the discovery rule to conclude that Starz timely filed its claims of copyright infringement,” the court said in a filing which can be read here . “Taking all the facts in the complaint as true, there were no events that occurred that should have placed Starz on notice that MGM was violating its exclusive rights until Starz’s employee discovered the movie ‘Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ on Amazon Prime Video in August.”
“And as the district court aptly put it, ‘When Starz did detect smoke, in the form of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, it quickly discovered the fire and promptly sued for all 340 infringements.’ Because Starz brought its claim within three years after its claim accrued, Starz is not barred from seeking damages for all acts of infringement,” the court said.
The LAPD arrested Weinberg at his Los Feliz residence and is holding him on $3.2 million bail
Eric Weinberg, an Emmy-nominated Hollywood writer and co-executive producer on “Scrubs” and “Californication,” was arrested Thursday on multiple sexual assault charges for rapes dating back to 2012 and possibly much earlier, the LAPD said.
According to an arrest report, Weinberg approached young women in grocery stores, coffee shops and other public places, saying he was a photographer who wanted to set up photo shoots. Once the women came to his Los Feliz residence, he would sexually assault them at some point during the process, police said.
Reps for Weinberg did not immediately respond to requests for comment Thursday. The report identifies him as a “serial assault suspect” and are asking for additional potential victims to come forward.
The LAPD says it believes victims could go back as early as 1990. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department at at (323)561-3272 or 39284@lapd.online.
Weinberg was an executive producer, co-executive producer or consulting producer on 10 high-profile TV shows dating back to 2005, including “Veronica’s Closet” and Charlie Sheen’s post-meltdown show “Anger Management” from 2013-2014. He was a writer on that show, as well as several others – including “Scrubs” and Bill Maher’s “Politically Incorrect,” both of which Weinberg was Emmy-nominated for. He collected five nominations from 1995-2006 but did not win.
Weinberg’s arrest comes amid a post-MeToo movement wave of Hollywood producers, directors and operators accused of sexual crimes in recent months.
“Crash” director Paul Haggis has denied wrongdoing in a rape reported by a British woman during an Italian film festival earlier this summer. The 30-year-old woman says she was raped repeatedly over multiple days; Haggis says the encounter was consensual and that the woman’s statement “seemed rehearsed.”
A Santa Barbara judge recently dismissed all charges against “Atomic Blonde” and “Extraction” producer David Guillod, accused by “Ted” actress Jessica Barth of a 2012 attack and another incident involving an unnamed waitress who said she was raped in 2018. The case was tossed because the proper jurisdiction couldn’t be determined and has been referred back to Los Angeles prosecutors.
And a lengthy Los Angeles Times report accused B-movie producer Randall Emmett of “sketchy” and abusive behavior that included setting up a sex-for-roles arrangement with a young actress. He has not been charged with any crimes, and his publicist methodically denied all accusations of wrongdoing.
Pamela Chelin contributed to this report.
Eli Horowitz’s film starts out like a cabin-in-the-woods horror movie before flipping the script on multiple occasions
This film was originally reviewed out of SXSW 2022 under its previous title, “The Cow.”
In writer-director Eli Horowitz’s labyrinthine, mostly unpredictable thriller “Gone in the Night,” becoming increasingly risk-adverse is one clear symptom of getting older.
Part unlikely friendship tale and part potpourri of genre tropes orchestrated as a parade of red herrings, this debut feature takes on modern culture’s blatant disdain of aging and veneration of youth.
It begins with a common sequence: two people driving on an empty tree-lined road. They are, of course, heading toward an isolated destination in the middle of nowhere. Middle-aged hydroponics expert Kath (Winona Ryder) and her younger, man-child boyfriend Max (an amusingly annoying John Gallagher Jr.) have decided on an impromptu getaway to a rented forest abode as part of an ongoing dynamic in which he constantly dares her to be more adventurous.
In “Gone in the Night,” Horowitz lays down strong eeriness early: He harnesses the inherently unnerving atmosphere of a place amid nature and toys with the language of cabin-in-the-woods films that immediately raise flags in t
