Finally! The day has arrived for our family’s day at the beach. My parents have been planning our family excursion to the beach ever since the summer holidays had started. Of course, I’ve been very elated when my parents had made the announcement that we were going to the beach this Sunday coming. So last Friday evening, my dad took some time off early from work so that he, mom and I can go to the grocery store and purchase everything that we are going to need on our trip to the beach on Sunday.
There were so many things that we had bought for our family day at the beach, like snacks and refreshments and meats and rice and so the list goes on. Now that the day had finally arrived, I was ready to spend a wonderful time with my parents at the beach. On Sunday morning, my mom and dad had been busy cooking the food in the kitchen while I helped packed the refreshments in a large cooler box with ice.
By the time my parents had finished preparing the food, they had packed it into a large box with plates and spoons and forks. Then we had started packing everything into our family caravan. Soon, in the next hour, we were driving through the main road, and we were on our way to the beach, which is actually my favorite place in the world so far.
The sea water was blue and beautiful as it sparkles in the warm sun. There were a few people here and there on the beach. Some were busy playing cricket, while a few kids were building sand castles just for fun. There were at least three or six people for the most, already bathing in the clear, blue sea water. By the time, we had gotten out from the caravan, I was already excited to go into the water and enjoy a fine sea bath. My mom had seemed to have read my mind so she told me that’s it lunch first, and then we all can go into the water.
The food was incredibly delicious. Baked chicken, lasagna, egg salad and shepherd pie, it was truly an amazing meal that I’ve ever eaten so far. Then I drank some iced cold lemon lime juice to wash it down. Well, I have to say that I was already enjoying our family day at the beach so far. After that incredible lunch, my parents and I relaxed like for half an hour until it was officially time to have some real fun. We all ran into the sea water and dived in. The water was cool and wonderful that we stayed there until it was time for us to pack up and go home.
It was five o’clock that evening when we all had packed up our belongings and put them back into our family caravan. As I sat in the back seat of the caravan, I looked out of the window to have a quick look at the clear blue sea water one more before we drove off. I can see that sun was already setting above the horizon of the ocean. But I know that some other again, we shall return to enjoy another family day at the beach.

DEAR ANNIE A FEW WEEKS AGO, OUR 13-YEAR-OLD SON, "MIKE," WAS INVITED TO A BIRTHDAY SWIM PARTY AT THE HOME OF A CLASSMATE. FIVE OTHER BOYS ALSO WERE INVITED. WE RECENTLY MOVED TO THIS AREA AND WERE PLEASED THAT MIKE HAD MADE NEW FRIENDS.
I talked to the mother, who seemed nice, and she promised that the party would be well-supervised. However, when my husband picked Mike up later, he noticed his bathing suit was completely dry, although his hair was wet. It seems the boys had been skinny-dipping. The mother apparently went out shopping, and the father convinced the boys to join him in the pool, naked.
When I found out what went on, I hit the roof. Later, I called the mother, and we had it out on the phone. She says her husband and son swim nude all the time and there's nothing indecent about it. I accused her husband of child abuse. She threatened to sue me and hung up. We then talked to the police about it, but they say if there is no sexual contact between the adult and the boys, no law has been broken.
Legal or not, we don't feel good about it. We have refused to allow Mike to have any contact with the boy or his family. Mike is furious at us for keeping him away from his new best friend.
I spoke with the other boys' parents, and they don't see a problem. One mother even told me to apologize. Now we are having second thoughts about our decision. What do you think?
DEAR ALL WET ACCUSING THE FATHER OF CHILD ABUSE WAS AN OVERREACTION, BUT WE AGREE THAT IT IS COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE FOR AN ADULT MALE TO ENCOURAGE 13-YEAR-OLD BOYS TO SWIM NAKED WITH HIM. THOSE PARENTS SHOULD HAVE TOLD YOU WHAT THE SWIM PARTY ENTAILED AND ASKED YOUR PERMISSION BEFORE INVITING MIKE TO REMOVE HIS CLOTHES.
Don't prevent Mike from seeing his friend, but have the boy come to your house instead of the other way around. Teach your son how to protect himself from potential child molesters, and tell him to report any disturbing behavior to you.
DEAR ANNIE I LIVE IN A NICE NEIGHBORHOOD. MOST OF THE RESIDENTS TAKE PRIDE IN HAVING A NICE LAWN AND FLOWERBEDS. BUT ONE OF MY NEIGHBORS AND HER DOG ARE DRIVING ME BATTY.
"Lilly" and her husband have no lawn or flowers, but they do have plenty of trees. However, whenever Lilly takes "Rover" outside, she walks the dog around the neighborhood, letting Rover go wherever he wants. Rover particularly likes doing his business near my front steps, and Lilly seems to guide him in that direction.
Lilly picks up after Rover, but my lawn is not doing well with all the extra fertilizing and foot traffic. Is there a polite way to tell Lilly to take her dog elsewhere and stop hanging out in front of my house?-- Creeped Out in Charlotte, N.C.

A RESORT has been transformed into a hedonist’s paradise as thousands of students indulge in a booze-fuelled orgy of sun, sea and sex.
THOUSANDS of party-mad teens have descended on a small island in Texas for a booze-fuelled orgy of sun, sea and, most importantly, sex.
It’s now Spring Break time which means millions of US college students will pack their bikinis and trunks but leave their inhibitions at home.
On South Padre Island — a narrow strip of land off the coast — more than 18,000 have arrived to get wet and very, very wild, The Sun reports.
Drinking starts at 12 on the dot and, for those with the stamina, doesn’t finish until the early hours.
Throughout the day, party animals down shots and take part in X-rated twerking contests and wet T-shirt competitions.
By mid-afternoon, hundreds of young men and women are scattered unconscious on the beach.
There are also organised parties — at nearby hotels and clubs — which offer students unlimited booze for the price of an $80 ticket.
The Spring Break season stretches from the beginning of March until mid-April.
The tradition started in the 1930s, when colleges would take their swimming teams to competitions in Florida.
That tradition continued into the ’60s and a number of films — including Where The Boys Are — chronicled the wild parties.
As word spread, more students began to head to hot spots in Florida including Fort Lauderdale, Daytona Beach, Miami and Panama City Beach.
Then in 1986 MTV launched its first Spring Break Special , which brought the tradition to a wider audience and now many US coastal resorts host Spring Break parties.

A teenage girl has appealed to the internet for help, as she questions her dad’s insane rules about her nudity in their family home.
Over the years, it’s become obvious to Lily* that her father doesn’t seem to respect her privacy at all.
For starters, he usually doesn’t knock when he wants to come into her room and so has walked in when she’s changing several times to ask a question.
The father-of-two also comes into the bathroom at least once a month while his 18-year-old daughter is showering.
“It’s a sliding glass door with no shower curtain so he sees me naked,” Lily wrote on Reddit .
“I told him I’m not comfortable with him seeing me naked.
“I lock the door while showering now. He called me a prude for not letting him in today while I was showering.”

When Lily questioned her dad about why he felt the need to walk into the room while she was naked, he tried to justify his actions.
As Lily listened in complete shock, her dad outlined the following four reasons why his behaviour was OK:
After that Lily was lost for words, unsure exactly how she should respond – so she turned to Reddit for some advice.
Overall, nearly 500 Redditors came to Lily’s aid, reassuring her that she had done nothing wrong and that her dad had definitely crossed the line.
“I’m a huge advocate for normalising many things in families such as kissing or hugging but this is too far because you didn’t consent and it’s creepy your dad is upset,” one concerned person said.
There were also several dads who chimed into the discussion, sharing how they have approached the nudity issue with their own daughters.
One father, with one and three-year-old girls, said that he planned to stop bathing around five years old.
Another said he would be waiting until his daughters told him they were “uncomfortable” – which is something he’s already spoken to them about.
“As soon as that happens then I’ll stop. It’s totally creepy to push your kids to let you see them naked when they’ve expressed discomfort,” he added.
