'Happy Massage' is one out of five short films from HerStory Malaysia.
HerStory Malaysia is keen on creating spaces for women to come together and learn how to share their stories with others using artistic platforms like filmmaking. Our ongoing HerStory Films Project seeks to collect stories about love, sex, and desire from Malaysian women, with an emphasis on diversity and personal experiences of falling in—and out—of love in a distinctly Malaysian context. Five of the submitted stories are made into films with the help of established Malaysian women artists in the country, and these films has been shown as a travelling film festival around Malaysia in October 2010.

A 56-year-old man who worked as a masseur at a spa in Katy, Texas, is now wanted after sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl, authorities said.
According to Constable Ted Heap, the man, identified as Zhujing "Sam" Li, sexually assaulted the teenager while giving her a massage earlier this year, KTRK-TV reported.
Li is being charged in connection with the incident that happened at the spa located in the 900 block of Westgreen Boulevard. The teenager was with her parents at the time, local media outlet Katy Magazine reported.
It appears that this is not the first time that Li has been involved in a sexual assault case. According to investigators, he is also wanted in another case where he went by the alias of James or Jason O. Cha. That incident happened at a different massage parlor located in New Orleans.
Li was described as an Asian male who stands at about 5-foot-5 and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. The 56-year-old also previously lived in Los Angeles, Seattle, New Orleans, Louisiana, Houston and Dallas.
Authorities are now seeking the public’s help to find the suspect. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for any information that could help police apprehend Li. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477) or by submitting information online through the Crime Stoppers website .
Earlier this month, a massage therapist from Wildomar, California, was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a client in Chino Hills. The appointment was scheduled on May 2 through Soothe, a mobile wellness provider that offers in-home massage therapy.
During the massage, Omar De Soto allegedly sexually assaulted the victim, gathered his belongings and left before deputies arrived. De Soto was an independent massage therapist and was never an employee of the company.
The 38-year-old was contacted at his residence on May 3 and was arrested on suspicion of penetration with a foreign object, East Bay Times reported. He was held on $100,000 bail.
As a result of that, authorities worked with Soothe to determine if there were other victims related to the incident. The California Massage Therapy Council confirmed that De Soto is certified and that they are aware of his arrest.

#MyStory: I Went For A Massage… And Then A Man Walked In!!
I love getting massages! They make me feel completely relaxed and energized – enough to be able to face the hectic week ahead of me. Now, I recently made a trip to Thailand, and I was told that if you don’t get a Thai massage while you’re in Thailand, you’re missing something!
One day, I was walking down the streets of Pattaya. While I was strolling around the place, a beautiful Thai spa caught my attention. I said to myself: “This is it! I’m going to go in there and get myself pampered.”
All went well initially. I booked an appointment and they asked me to get ready. All I had was a towel wrapped around me. I was nervous and equally excited while waiting in the spa room for my massage therapist. The lights were dim and a floral aroma clouded the room. I had a good feeling about this.
After a couple of minutes, I heard the door open. To my surprise, it wasn’t a woman. It was a man! I was a bit shocked because I had never gotten a massage from a man before. He smiled gently and asked me to lie down on the massage bed. Only the lower half of my body was now covered with the towel that they had provided. To be honest, it was quite awkward!
He probably sensed that I was nervous. And so in calm voice, he asked me to just relax and keep my mind blank and free from thought. At that moment, I decided to trust him – what else could I do, really? I’d paid for the massage already, and I was – truth be told – kinda curious about this experience. His first touch on my skin made me jump – no guy other than my boyfriend had ever touched me like that. But I stopped feeling nervous within seconds; he was super professional. As the massage continued, I let my guard down and relaxed completely.
The soft music and the rhythm of my masseur’s hands de-knotting my muscles was an experience out of this world. It felt heavenly. I have to admit that I didn’t want him to stop! I didn’t even notice how quickly the allotted 45 minutes flew by.
After the massage, I changed back into my clothes and walked out a really happy customer. My masseur gave me his card as I was leaving, and till today, I keep it safe in my wallet. Whenever I do make my next trip to Thailand, I’ll make sure to pay that spa in Pattaya a visit. It’s not that the ladies I’ve received massages from in Mumbai aren’t great, but that massage was just…so unique! Here’s hoping I’m able to repeat the experience again!

He had given his daughter "massages" on the pretext of following doctor's advice.
The girl was diagnosed with scoliosis - a spinal disorder - when she was in primary school.
But the father, 47, who cannot be named to protect his daughter's identity, took advantage of her in 2007 by molesting her during one of the massage sessions.
Yesterday, the man pleaded guilty to outraging his daughter's modesty by using "criminal force". He will be sentenced later.
The girl, who was about 11 years old then, followed him to the master bedroom of the flat in central Singapore.
Court documents showed that the man claimed he had wanted to massage her spine.
He locked the door although there was nobody else at home at the time, and told the girl to remove her shirt.
She was made to lie face down on the bed. While massaging her, he lifted her bra and told her to sit up. He then molested her.
He continued to molest her after telling her to remove her shorts and panties. The girl, who was traumatised, decided to keep silent.
The incident came to light three years later, after the girl confided in her secondary school teacher who then reported it to the school authorities.
The teacher had noticed that the girl "was exhibiting suicidal tendencies and self-injuring", court papers revealed. The girl finally made a police report in November 2010.
The man can be jailed up to two years, fined or caned.
