MONTGOMERY, Texas - A teenager became "one" with a chew toy after he accidentally swallowed it and— as you might assume— started squeaking.
Mary Serrano of Montgomery, Texas, said her 13-year-old son Jonathan was chewing on a dog toy to be annoying. The mother jokingly made a slapping gesture with a soda bottle. As her son ducked, he swallowed the whistle part of the toy.
Serrano then took her son to two different hospitals after he started squeaking.
While they waited in the emergency room at Conroe Regional Hospital, Serrano recorded a video of her son who kept squeaking as he could not contain his laughter.
Doctors were able to remove the toy, using a scope.
"Long story short, this was not fun for him because he missed a very important camping trip with Boy Scouts that he was very much looking forward to," she told Storyful.

A sexual predator who spent four years behind bars was banned from contact with children when he offered a 13-year-old phone credit in exchange for naked photos.
Shiloh Dakota William Harmatz was sentenced in the Brisbane District Court on Thursday after pleading guilty to grooming, indecent treatment of a child and possessing child exploitation material.
Police searching him in May last year found two notebooks and paper that had numerous names, female's email addresses and social media user names.
They also found images of Harmatz naked and of girls without clothes and in sexual positions, Judge John Allen said.
At the time Harmatz, now 27, was subject to a court order prohibiting him from contact with children under 16.
Detectives later found Harmatz had offered a 13-year-old girl phone credit in exchange for her sending photos.
Harmatz messaged saying he looked at her naked photo while masturbating and also sent her videos of himself.
Another count involved him messaging and sending videos to a 14-year-old girl through social media platforms.
Officers also found hundreds of child exploitation material images of girls aged between 12 and 15 on Harmatz' phone.
He made full and frank admissions, telling police the names on the list were of people he planned to contact, Judge Allen said.
Harmatz was convicted in 2016 of multiple sexual and drug offences, with the complainants aged between 12 and 15.
He was released on parole, but that was cancelled due to reoffending.
That same year he was convicted of breaching suspended sentences.
Two years later Harmatz was convicted of more sexual offences against six children.
Judge Allen said Harmatz had spent at least four years in prison, but neither that punishment nor the terms of a supervision order acted as a sufficient deterrent.
"You are a persistent and recidivous child sex offender and considerations of community protection do loom large," he told Harmatz.
He noted the offences did not involve actual contact with children or attempts to arrange meetings.
Judge Allen sentenced him to two years behind bars, ordering he be eligible to apply for parole immediately after serving 504 days in custody.

An arrest has been made following the release of security footage showing a man forcefully walking a teenage girl before she was sexually assaulted in a Los Angeles bathroom, police said Wednesday.
The Los Angeles Police Department said Edward William "Willie" Banks, 27, was taken into custody Tuesday night with help from several tipsters. He was booked into jail on suspicion of aggravated kidnappings to commit rape and is being held on $1 million bail.
The incident occurred Tuesday at a park in the El Sereno neighborhood.
Authorities said the 14-year-old was approached by a man and threatened with a weapon. She was then forced into a bathroom where the sexual assault took place, police said.
Security footage released by the LAPD appears to show a suspect with his arm around the teen as he forcefully walks her down a street. The grainy footage then zooms in to capture the suspect's face.
The case against Banks will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, police said.

BUTLER COUNTY, OHIO (WXIX) - A former New Miami softball coach could spend five years in jail and might have to register as a sex offender following allegations she had sex with a 17-year-old student.
Ashley Rison pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges of sexual battery and gross sexual imposition, according to Butler County court records.
She will be back in court on Nov. 16 for sentencing.
According to the indictment, Rison engaged in sexual conduct with the student eight times in April 2021.
Rison quit her job at New Miami on May 3, 2021, the same day the alleged crimes were reported to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
“In addition to what the child tells us, we do have recordings between Ms. Rison and the child of where Ms. Rison makes multiple incriminating statements in asking, begging the child not to report her to the authorities,” Assistant Prosecutor Lindsay Sheehan said in previous court hearings.
Officials with the New Miami Board of Education told FOX19 NOW that Rison coached girls softball and basketball. They said she began working for the district in August 2015.
In addition, the sheriff’s office said she was a teacher’s aide at New Miami.
“Ashley Ra-Nae Rison is no longer employed by the New Miami Local School Board. Effective May 3, 2021, Ms. Rison resigned from her position as Paraprofessional and Coach. New Miami Local Schools has no further comment at this time,” Superintendent Rhonda Parker told FOX19 NOW at the time.
Butler County Prosecutor Mike Gmoser said there was only one victim and “we [prosecutor’s office] are not alleging a rape by force.”
