A Statistical Snapshot of Youth at Risk and Youth Offending in Canada Juvenile delinquency is a complex, multi-faceted issue. In order to devise effective prevention and intervention strategies for youth at risk, it is important to understand the context in which this behaviour occurs.
In this article, we will discuss the prevalence of teen gang activity and the emergence of a promising prevention/treatment program that has been shown to make a difference in reducing criminal behavior and violence among these youth.
