This book has great information and will be a good addition to our counseling library. Thanks for providing it at a reasonable cost.
I cracked up when I paged though it. This is not the book to give an educated teen from a good family. It discusses reasons for not dressing your baby in gang colors.
Great book written for the teenage dad that covers all aspects of pregnancy from the question "Is she pregnant?" and establishing paternity, to the early developmental stages of childhood and childhood safety. I highly recommend this book for high school libraries.

Aiming to disprove the stereotype that paints all teen fathers as uncaring and irresponsible, this book provides young dads with parenting advice geared especially to them. The guide reveals that the reality can be quite different for many young fathers if they have a chance to parent their child and if appropriate support services are offered. These useful tips for young dads—including taking as much responsibility as they can, knowing their rights, and ultimately finding joy in their parenting role—help shape teens who are far less likely to run from their responsibilities. In this updated edition, a new chapter has been added along with new quotes and real stories from modern young dads who are dealing with the many issues of parenting too soon. This advice can be used to involve the father while the partner is still pregnant, learn skills of parenting, and plan for his future and that of the child.
Jeanne Warren Lindsay is the author of 18 books for and about pregnant and parenting teens, including Discipline from Birth to Three , Nurturing Your Newborn , and Your Pregnancy and Newborn Journey . Her title Books, Babies and School-Age Parents was a finalist in the 1998 Small Press Book Awards, and the previous edition of Teen Dads was selected by the American Library Association as a Recommended Book for the Reluctant Young Adult Reader. She lives in Buena Park, California.
