The 2nd installment of the beginning of my shoot with Wen. Take your time and enjoy. Clothes coming off is sexy. So many moments I like here. "You Choose" she says when I asked what clothing to take off next... Her speaking softly in Taiwanese after I gave her my best Indonesian. Wen's gorgeous feet and ass. The change of moods throughout the shoot, and of course her sensational breasts that you waited so patiently to see :) ~AE
I photographed Veronica in 2002 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in my hotel room. I had met her at a party the night before. This was a wonderfully satisfying shoot for so many reasons! For one, I had just met here. Two, she spoke almost no English. Three, she brought along her girlfriend to translate for us, while photographing both of us the entire time. And four, Vernonica was so beautiful, with an endearing smile, cute laugh, and an incredible, natural body. Thanx to my friend Tomas for the translation. There's definately something sexier about hearing a woman speaking in her native language. I like her little animal story too. Grrrowwwwll :) ~ Andrew
I photographed Shannon in the summer of 2003, when I was in full swing for my Bubble Bath Book. I called Shannon Honey Girl because, well, she had golden brown skin, incredible honey-colored hair, and she was very sweet. This is the beginning of our shoot, just prior to the bath. If I said we smoked up and had a variety of colorful fruits in the tub, it would probably be true. Might not. I photographed Madison in her painting studio in 2007, for my Naked Happy Girls TV Show. It was season 2 in San Francisco. Madison was just a sweet Southern Woman, transplanted into the art world of the city by the bay. I decided to go out of order here a bit: to show the process of photographing her, mixed with video when she was already nude, talking about the life of a painter. As usual, I try to make it fun yet awkward, as I always love photos of women , falling, bending, laughing, and generally having a swell time. I'll only have one other gallery from this shoot, but it will be a good one. I had Madison dance around on the rooftop, taking off a fuzzy pink robe to the delight of anyone nearby within eyesight. ~ Andrew
I photographed Briana in 2006. Yep. Old school might be a cliche', but this is old school downtown NYC. Briana lived on the edge of the East Village, Little Italy & Soho. You can see the view off of Houston St. I filmed Briana very early in my "Dog the Cat days" which was my public access TV show. I was just starting to put nudes on the show. As you can see, Briana liked her "unfashionable yet fashionable hideous haircut." I like that. She felt like a genuine New Yorker: smoking cigarettes, reading her diary, talking about fashion, music & boys. I've spliced together about half of my shoot here, mixing the early chat with getting naked on the roof at the end. It appears Briana really liked video ;) I do too. ~ Andrew
I photographed Ishtar at a beautiful mansion in Long Island in 2009. It was quite a day. This is the beginning of our shoot, which was met by severe thunderstorms. Luckily it cleared up, and I filmed her outside, in the house, and then underwater in the pool. Ishtar really was a soap opera star in Portugal, who did some modeling in the USA. Lucky me. Beautiful woman, with a spectacular body. I asked her escort to do some filming, and he did a very good job. Ishtar came across as a bit shy, but very sweet, and luckily for us, likes to get naked. ~ Andrew
Daniel González D.G. Clothes Project Strip Tradition Aguante Gringo Carajo performance Maco México Art Fair, 2006 at Play Gallery booth Three models will wear the D.G. Clothes Project collection: trucker hats, man-shirt ponchos (produced out of shirts taken from the gallerist’s wardrobe), bikinis and bijoux-like decorated police hand cuffs. The models will walk in front of and near the stand of the gallery booth. The male passers-by will be taken abruptly taken out of their passive audience status and into the gallery’s booth, they will be hand-cuffed to one of the three platforms. Each model will go on the platform and show herself for a minute. Then, she will start to undress herself and, once she is naked, she will pose as a classical statue. The models will represent three different kinds of women: – the contemporary-shopping woman – the transgression-bound woman – the muse Eventually, they will be charging the space with emotional states to acquire authority by getting rid of /undressing themselves of traditional taboos in front of strangers-gringos. Duration: 18 minutes The performance was especially conceived for MACO 2006 and has taken place twice a day during the art fair. www.dg-clothesproject.com
