New reality TV game show Bromans promises to get off to a wild start.
ITV have got eight modern day couples to try and live as ancient Romans in a bid for gladiator glory.
Not only do they have to prove their physical strength in a series of tough tasks, they have to live as they did – wearing the same clothes and eating an ancient Roman diet.
To keep you hooked, episode one sees these gorgeous guys strip off and get their equally gorgeous girlfriends to don bikinis and battle each other in a sand pit to find clothes for them.
If this show is anything like Love Island, we’re expecting plenty of slow motion shots as the bromans rough each other up wearing next to nothing. Or in the boys’ case – absolutely nothing.
Seriously, there’s something for everyone here.
And the boys are getting put through their paces too as they get to grips with loading and pulling a chariot.
The boys will be trained by the fearsome ‘Doctore’, played by David McIntosh, who isn’t going to take it easy on the boys when it comes to using their muscles.
Meanwhile the boys’ girlfriends will help them on their journey and prepare them for the Emperor’s Games, as well as take part in ancient Roman tasks like wine making and sculpting.
Bromans starts tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
